I don't like that Miah is cycling the trequartista role he needs to pick someone and stick with them. those 2 cm roles need to be the most consistent in order for this system to have success. i'm confident honda will excel as the trequartista he just needs time in the position and overall Miah's trust. the sooner Montolivo is back to his best form the better the midfield will look. Bertolacci has the talent but he's obviously not ready to start every game.

AC Milan should be in UEFA "hall of fame" before it becomes a "shame" I have a bad feeling about this season that they will lose to some other club in a 8-0.

Defence was pretty average. Romagnoli and Antonelli were quite good, but De Sciglio was bad, and Zapata went from "meh" to awesome by the end of the game. The midfield was a mess, Bonaventura saved our asses. Suso was a mess, and Bacca and L. Adriano were solid, they did what they could. If a quality midfielder doesn't come before the market closes, this season is gonna suck. Hard.

it will take more than a quality midfielder. If I had the power, I would literally get rid off every single midfielder at the club. Antonelli is run of the mill and limited, albeit not as casual as de sciglio. abate should start ahead of de sciglio whilst saponara scored from an identical move that got kalinic through on goal last week, and then ultimately resulted in rodrigo ely being sent off. midfield attacks when it wants and defends when it feels like. there's no synergy. too slow, too many pointless passes, can't turn with back to goal and absolutely terrible at pressing or holding onto the ball. and why is it only Milan who need to use TWO players to take a corner kick? luiz adriano scoring from a header was a miracle. seeing a good cross has become like truffles in piemonte.

How do we evaluate the last day of the window? disaster in that we weren't able to make any additions? success in that we managed to clear our deadwood in the shape of Bonera, Matri and the red bull puppet? Soriano was never going to improve Milan, and Witsel? could potentially have been good at hold up play, but he wouldn't have brought any pace or that connection between midfield and attack that we desperately need.
