And to be honest, watching Neymar and Suarez and everyone else always running and pressing while Messi is waiting or walking makes me feel like he might be a key role to why Barca is not functioning pretty good as a unit. It is like you are playing 1 man less most of the game...

Not really a good performance but Suarez seems to be getting his confidence back! Can't wait to see him in full flight in that team.

Why rest Neymar and Suarez, it just doesn't make sense.

It's frustrating to see Messi walk. I wish he could play like he played in 11/12 season when he was great.

4-3-3 might be perfect for tiki taka, but since we dont play that system anymore, it's much better to play 4-2-3-1, with messi at CAM, Iniesta at RM, Neymar LM, Suarez ST, Busquets Rakitic CDM

People saying Messi should be moved to the right... no, lol. Messi likes to have the ball and play through the center, not necessarily as a striker. Enrique needs to change the formation. This 4-3-3 with a weak midfield isn't working. It's the midfield that's currently the problem with Barca; it's getting overrun by strong, or even decent teams. A 4-2-3-1 would be good with Messi at CAM, Neymar on left, and Suarez at ST, with Iniesta/Rakitic/Rafinha on the right (they can all play on the wings). A double pivot of Masch and Busi for defesive cover, or replace one of them with a more creative mid for more offense.

If you want Neymar up front, then a 3-4-2-1 would be ideal. Mathieu has experience as LB so he could cover that left side of defnse well, Bartra on the right (cus he always covers for Alves anyways) and Pique/Verm at center (i.e. the slowest ones). Then you can have a 4/5-man mid, and a 2/3-man strike force (Messi would be CAM). Enqrique keeps rotating players randomly with no direction. He needs to get the best out of his star studded team and using a formation where a bunch of them can shine is worth trying. And no, Messi's not being lazy. It's only in recent games he's been walking (only Madrid and Almeria come to mind). Most of this season he's actually been hustling a lot.

Uhmn, they even should rest Messi or tell him to run... Although he still pulled out some nice dribbling, but sometimes watching him is too frustrating (when he just walk, creates no pressure)... as soon as he has the ball he will do something nice, but otherwise... walk... rest him if he needs to protect his feet for CL. 6/10 performance

Yeah, true but i think for him its a way to get forgotten by rival defense, save pace for his accelerations.
