Everybody starts to praise the 'parking bus' strategy. We saw what Iran did today that made many people think that they are unlucky and played Top Class. I think it will be a new trend in football.

Well, despite the loss to great Argentina, our team played very well and had great chances.Most people don't know the restrictions and lack of resources Iranian team has.Our f'ed up government and football federation cannot even arrange friendlies against good teams.Overall, I think this was a great perfromane

Why is it everytime a team plays on the counter and defends well, people moan about parking the bus? Considering the amount of offensive talent that Argentina posses, surely it would be completely ridiculous for a team like Iran to go with a full on attack strategy? Just a lame excuse to hide the fact that Argentina played terribly in both their games in my opinion

Talking of disgrace...how about when your team parked the bus in champions league 2011-12 to win it all. I remember seeing the whole team defending with a formation of 10-0-0-1 against Barcelona..I think Iran played incredibly well given their players limited exposure to international football, to play a clean organized game against the likes of messi, aguero, di maria calls for great respect for them.

Do you have any idea how difficult it is to park the bus? The amount of tactical discipline required? The fitness levels required to press/chase the ball while keeping your shape for 90min? When your team is full of lesser- (if at all) known players up against a world-class attack? Some news for you: if you want results you've got to defend soundly as well.
