He didnt even get a game with spurs till last november....... and he ended it with over 30 goals. I still think he has time, but he definitely has looked pretty shite this season so far.

Let's hope Lamela keeps playing in this form.

Collective fingers crossed for that, sir. It's good to see his link up play improve combined with his fantastic work right. He may miss time a few tackles, but his effort has been top notch. The recent goals will only build his confidence.

This was an exciting game. It could've easily been 1-2, 2-1 or 2-2. Good to see Lamela play a big role in the goal with his breakout pass and finish. It's troubling to see Seria A teams put in a strong performance with 3 wins today, winning a battle in a war for the 4th place UCL spot through the UEFA Coefficient rankings: a story line I am looking forward to seeing play out this year. Tough game this weekend against Swansea City! COYS

You know you're dire when 'forever on the bench' El Shaarawy scores against you.

I hope Conte calls El Shaarawy up next week.

If he does, then it says a lot of the state of our national team.

who else do we realistically have on the wing, Insigne is injured also Candreva, Giaccherini is old now, Vazquez and Bonaventura are trequartistas. Cerci fell off the face of the earth.

I like Italians, they are wonderful people and the country has a great history. I just don't like the way they play football. Both their professionals and players i encounter myself.

you guys have Bernardeschi on the wing, if he isn't already called up then he should be.

we are lucky players like Verratti and El Shaarawy get called up to begin with because players usually dont get called up for italy until they are 24 or 25.
