Once again, I don't understand how it is fair to punish the retaliator and never the provoker? Don't get me wrong Benteke was rightfully sent off, but Mason should have been sent off with him, in my opinion.

My hats off to Soldado. So much life lessons to learn from that guy. He just keeps fighting even when nothing is going his way. Yeah, I know the team spent lot of money for the striker, and he seems to forgot how to score, but then again, he keeps fighting hard instead of getting discouraged and talk trash about his teammates. I think he plays well right under the striker. anyways thanks Soldado, I am your supporter now. By the way, I only saw the highlights, in my country, they don't show much football because we suck.

Ryan Mason what a scumbag. Same can be said to ref tbh, what did Benteke do exactly what Mason didn't? Kane seems to be scoring every single game, but still doesn't get starting spot. He has scored like 6 goals more than Soldado&Adebayor COMBINED.

If Drogba retires by next year or if one of our striker gets injured for a long period(something which I don't want to happen), Benteke would be fit perfectly in our team!

Awful, awful performance from us once again. We were lucky to escape with 3 points, but Vertonghen was wrongly booked for his challenge and that threw off anything the ref did from that point on. He completely bottled this match, he crumbled under pressure from the players and fans.

Provoked or not, you have to be professional about the situation and have common sense. Common sense, professionalism and maturity tells you to ignore the other person.

Rightfully a sending off are you kidding, Mason went in Benteke's face and obviously provoking the action and Benteke simply pushed him away, but Mason is a midget and the hand went in his face. For me this is a yellow to both players along with a warning. I wonder if the FA stay with the decision?

I'd say poor refereeing facilitated their victory. First off, Benteke should have have gotten a yellow, same with Mason and Soldado for pushing and retaliating. That was some pussy s*** by the ref that cost Villa the game. Last goal was obviously pure luck as well

a very aggressive game ,both teams tackles werent calculated .spurs were very average if there planning to get top 5 they need to step it up and kane what a player
