i just wanna say one thing to all the EPL and La Liga and to all real football fans and followers... im italian/australian i follow all European football though mostly Serie A coz of Milan, but seeing man u trash arsenal that way and barca against villareal to me is not fun, exiting or nice for the game actually i think it's quite sad in my opinion, because the gap that there is between the top 2 in Spain and Man U in england( im not counting Man city or Chealse coz they only got cash from foreign investors and sooner o later it will finish) and Liverpool- Arsenal cant keep up, the gap is only gonna get wider. Serie A is falling behind big time but at least when big teams like Milan Juve Inter or Roma play each other you will never get scores so overwhelming and even when they play away to smaller clubs its always a great result to come home with the 3 points coz its hard everywhere u play... not that the smaller clubs of italy are better than the anglo/spanish counterparts its just that there is more balance and some goes for the german Bundesliga witch is far more exiting to watch( again personal opinion). For me football was better 15-20 years ago when English teams had english players( same for Italy/Spain) and players were brought up from the youth teams and played a career with one club ( Paolo Maldini, Hierro, Gary Neville) coz of the love and passion not just were the money is, but unfortunately football today is what it is MONEY HUNGRY so we just gotta accept it coz it aint changing, and soon we will be having a European Super league NBA style of all the big clubs of Europe witch will end the beautiful game as we know it. I pray for the day salary caps are enforced and the financial fair play becomes are reality so the sake of football. But at least im in Australia so i still got rugby league and South Sydney Rabbitos to watch But Forever till the day i die AC MILAN always last thing i wish that all football clubs would do what Athletic Bilbao has being doing for years a real example to follow ( my favorite team out of after Milan)

Tuzo - If you can find a multimillionaire that is willing to invest his petrodollars on clubs like Valencia, At Madrid or Villarreal, then I suggest that you run and tell them quickly, as I am sure that they will really appreciate it and will compensate you nicely. The domination of European football in the last 30 years has been part of a cycle which has been marked by the level of investment in such leagues. English clubs dominated Europe in the late 70’s and early 80’s. The Italians came along in the late 80’s to mid 90’s and were able to sign players like Maradona, Van Basten, Gullit or Zidane, which allowed them to acclaim supremacy in Europe . Since the late 90’s to present, Europe has been dominated by clubs from La Liga and the Premier League due to the large investments that some of these clubs have benefited from over the past years. But you also have to remember that poor financial management has seen some of these well established clubs crumble and be relegated to the lower divisions when the money stopped coming in (see Deportivo or Leeds for example). This same poor financial management is what has hit clubs like Valencia, At Madrid or Seville, who have had to sell their best players to keep the boat afloat, hence why there is such a wide gap between them and Barcelona/Madrid. This is mainly the fault of the privatization of football, as owners are obviously out there to make a profit, or where else do we think that the money for such players as Villa, Silva, Sergio Ramos, Reyes or Alves has gone in the last few years? The only difference between the Premier League and La Liga at the moment is the money coming in from foreign investment, but people need to realize that this will not last for ever and when these owners have had enough of football and walk away, the rich City’s, Malaga’s or Chelsea’s of this world could easily find themselves in exactly the same position as Leeds or Deportivo are in now. Whilst there is a possibility that City, Chelsea or Liverpool mount a serious challenge to United in the league this season, the FACTS show that United have won 4 of the last 5 leagues and Chelsea have won 3 of the last 5 FA Cups. With Chelsea winning the remaining one of those 5 leagues, both clubs have won 8 of the possible 10 trophies during the last 5 years. In La Liga, the last 5 seasons have been shared by Barcelona and Madrid, who have won 3 and 2 leagues each respectively. In the Copa del Rey, there have been 4 different winners in the last 5 editions, with only Seville repeating the trophy, meaning that 4 different teams have shared the 10 domestic trophies in the last 5 years. This is yet another FACT to prove that the dominance that United and Chelsea have imposed in the Premier League over the last few years is much greater than that of Barcelona and Real Madrid in La Liga. For God sake, please take the cotton wool from over your eyes. What more FACTS do you need to see to convince yourselves?
