Good write up Nic, although I was pahpers slightly less enthused, feeling as though we went into the half time 2-0 up but barely the better side. We bossed the second half but by then the air had been punched out of Rayo by those only just deserved goals (don't get me wrong, that first goal from Alexis was great but it was slightly against the run of things), but without them it could have been very nervy. Whilst we dominated the second half, I was not that impressed by the Cesc / Thiago combination: I thought that this was one of the weaker performances from both of them, Thiago in particular guilty of being a little too casual in retaining the ball. The most positive note was all three of our forwards getting on the score sheet shame Villa couldn't make that long ball from Valdes into a goal, nor Messi manage to score following on from that sublime flick I think then their confidence would be roaring rather than purring.

Ideally I would like to avoid spoilers. One of the tnihgs on my to-do list is implement tags like [spoiler] [/spoiler] for notes/synopsis/character fields that will be invisible by default unless you ask to be spoiled. Then we'll be able to do both.
