Casillas is rubbish since past 2 seasons.he has had a massive dip in form. he has a lot of years left behind him. hope regular first time football brings out the best in him. the first got was near post, he should have saved that. it wasn't a "laser" of a shot. dont make excuses for him. It's preseason so its not going to matter much.his positioning needs to improve a bit, hence the 2nd goal. with age you are meant to read the game better, but if you've had a good defence in front of you most your life, you don't learn as much, case in point van dar sar for fulham...chec pre chelsea etc...him and valdes are rubbish. the spanish defence is good thats why they won euro and world cup when they were in their prime, they are finished now.

@trapTrapInTheBando casillas has been nominated more than van der sar and Cech for the best gk of the year and he performed incredible saves more than any other goalkeeper when he was younger.

The first goal was just a laser on the ground. That's a tough save for anyone, especially after a silly turnover in the defensive zone. The second goal was iffy at best. He probably has that most night. Not a stellar showing by Casillas, but I wouldn't say terrible. He's a good goalie with good positioning. He'll do well for Porto.

What's up with the 5 people that said Monchengladbach played poor? Shit, these types of people ruin the voting system. Just look at the first two goals? Nothing was poor or lucky nor average about it. Porto's goal was good too but c'mon people are clearly just pissed off over the 2-1 loss...it's just a friendly...

@daf what has Casillas salary got to do here idiot? I just pointed out its a stupid excuse to blame poor goalkeeping because of age. Look at Cech he's still considered one of the best keepers today despite being 33 which is 1 year younger than Casillas.

@TrapTrapInTheBando it's not a matter of age, if you are 60 and can perform like a 27 year old in his prime, then it doesn't matter. Casillas is not who he used to be. He's been giving away a lot of silly goals lately, which is either a lack of concentration and motivation or it just means it's time to move on.
