i'm afraid that messi has had his golden days. Many other players' career peak at 30 years old, I fear that it's not the case with messi. In 2011/2012 he scored 72 in a season which was impossible, then he scored 60 goals the next season, and 41 goals in 2013/20/14. This statistics shows that he's in the process of declining.Yes he's still the best players in the world, but I don't think today's messi's better than messi in 2011 which is unfortunate since with him being 27 yrs old he can actually still get better. I hope Ill be proved wrong and that he will score 60+ goals in the end of the season.

The game should have ended 3-3..Argentina blew so many chances but they were playing the more attractive brand of football. As for Brazil the first goal was handed to them and the second was not great in which the keeper should have made a save as it was a soft header...

Not saying Messi is having bad season. He has been involved in most of Barca's goals this season if not all which is still incredible and was superb in the WC. But there is still a great quality that declined vastly, workrate&activity. There is something with his fitness. 2012 and before there wouldn't be idle minutes for him.

I said it before and ill say it again, Messi is an incredible player, but for a player that good, hes not very reliable when it comes to penalties.

Brasil has always been for me clearly identifiable by 2 things - its no 10 and the rugged swashbuckling left backs going back to Francisco Marinho (WC 1974) to Branco to Leandro etc. In Danilo and Dodo probably they have that now. The no 10 i am not sure. But it is nice to see so many unknown players that Dunga has picked. My only problem is David Luiz!
