After this performance, i'm not afraid to say that some of these Chelsea players really did architect Mourinho's exit. It started when Mourinho slammed and shut the door on Eva which sparked a crisis between him and his own players. (Maybe some Chelsea players like having her around) and some of the players felt Mourinho was overreacting on Eva which led to ending her service at CFC. And they (players) avenged for Eva by consistently under performing in league matches just to bring Mourinho down. BUT, they performed in Champions league matches which they planned to develop to the knockout stage. Make sense? Who doesn't love Champions league.. Tonight we all witnessed how really well the players were able to perform in the league. And Mourinho was right. His work was betrayed.

Chelsea did a game of thrones on mourinho...ivanovic was joffrey, costa was gregor clegane, hazard is baelish, and willian is tyrion

Jose Mourinho should have taken responsibility for Chelsea's loss of form. Instead of shifting all the blame on his players, Mourinho should have been humble and treated his backroom staff with respect to restore the trust of the players. Mourinho made many enemies and it reached a stage when Roman Abramovich had no choice except to sack him in order to turn the situation around.
He allowed his anger, frustration and the pressure get to him. The players knew that the club would not sack them, but fire the manager to improve things.

It really does look like Mourinho was betrayed.... how sad to see professional players acting like schoolgirls with a grudge.

Chelsea won the relegation battle. It might sounds crazy, but I would say that now they have a realistic chance to stay in the BPL.

It would appear that both the Jedi Master (Van Gaal) and his Padawan (Mourinho) are going to fall to order 66(sack) within 1 season. The dark side (their PHILOSOPHIES) have clearly let them down...

Chelsea are playing with more freedom, they are playing with confidence. Man of the match for me is Oscar

If Chelsea's players did betray Mourinho, I'm so hopeless. He might be arrogant and you wanna revenge. You might pity Eva and you wanna revenge. Yet, you must think also about the common interest of the club. You are professional players. You get paid of your playing and sure the club needs a win. You can protest to the owner of the club that you want Mourinho out, but on the pitch you must listen to him. You cannot revenge your leader by making all of your fans disappointed for several weeks. Hope MU's players won't do this to LvG.

In my opinion, there is a different beetween Mourino and Steve holland. Oscar and pedro is getting better with steve holland especially oscar. We can see in this match oscar is very good, don;t forget about ivanovic :). But I didn't forget what mourinho did for chelsea in 2 different times with the trophy he brought for chelsea. I think chelsea can better after this performance. But really Diego Costa and Fabregas should back like last season!

Shame on the players for causing mourinho to leave. When you are being payed especially hundreds and thousands of euros you must always perform at your best. No matter how bad you think of your manager. You have fans and you must not disappoint them. Which they did and on purpose. It's sickening.

BASED ON THE PERFORMANCE OF THE CHELSEA PLAYERS TODAY, IT HAS BECOME OBVIOUS THAT MOURINHO WAS RIGHT AND WILL ALWAYS BE RIGHT WHEN HE SAID HIS WORK WAS BETRAYED BY HIS PLAYERS. ON THAT NOTE I'M NO MORE CHELSEA FUN UNTIL THE LIKES OF HAZARD, TERRY, FABREGAS, COSTA, PEDRO ETC EXIT THE CLUB. SOME OF THEM DID IT FOR EVA, which was none of their business as professional players. As naïve as these boys can be they also need to understand that you can't do this EVIL to your leader and go UNPUNISHED by NATURE based on experienced and indepth studies. so they should be ready for their "WAGES" from mother NATURE.

The transformation in Chelsea's performance after Jose Mourinho's dismissal is miraculous. this is the same squad of players who were crowned Premier League champions just 7 mths ago. It can be argued that they want to play for Steve Holland far more than they would like to perform for Mourinho. In this respect, changing the manager did bring abt the desired effect.
