Despite Chile playing well, I feel for Uruguay, referee was one sided today and the match was killed after Cavani's red. As for the second, if players have been playing rough the entire tournament I don't know how that is a red card. The guy got the ball and Sanchez was just in between. Don't want to say it was fixed but some biased was going on. I hope Jara gets suspended for the rest of the tournament, that was disturbing from him.

Really disappointed and disgusted by this match all around. I hold no ill feelings for any South American country. That being said I think FIFA does not feel the same way but I'm glad the Mainz coach is not tolerating the behavior from Jara. Not to mention the fact that someone was playing that should be dealing with a criminal prosecution not a civil one a freaking criminal one, but just because hes an athlete playing for the country where said criminal act took place he gets a freaking pass on it. That is our world of sport these days, shame on you Vidal, arrogant self righteous prick. These guys are examples for millions of young lads, what an absolute shame. If none of this crap was in question Chile would deserve this win 100% but as it stands I just can't be happy for them.

Who cares if you are not happy for Chile you "arrogant self righteous prick"! Jara's behaviour was out of order and he deserves to be punished. Vidal's wrong doing was outside the pitch and as fuck all to with this match. It's not like he murdered somebody either...Stop moaning, woman.

Can we all agree that Jara should be banned from 10+ International games for this? FIFA HAS to come down hard on this type of stuff. It is outrageous and, yes, a complete embarrassment for the people of Chile.

i dont know why all the hate from others countries, the match was dominated by chile its matter of seeing the possesion.. i guess they havent seen the match, uruguay hit all the match.. maybe the referee didnt act well but that was not a condition of the match, chile played well and despite the referee's errors the one who saw the match knows that chile deserved to win... the rest is shit and haters go fuck yourselves

Jara was disgraceful, but even with that i did support Chile, they ate Uruguay for breakfast. Uruguay players played very dirty as well, it's just how it is between south american teams, it gets very physical.

sorry Cavani, but you cant slap a player in the face, and you can't be hostile with the linesman. those are both yellow cards all day. Chile move through because they were the better (and more level-headed) side.

Watch the incident again and you will notice that Jara sniffed the finger right after it ... and maybe he gave signal to referee that he does not approve the smell and that is how Cavanni got yellow ... conspiracy that i incline to believe in .

I cant believe people are hating on the entire Chilean national team for what ONE player did. Sure, what Jara did is disgusting and he should be punished accordingly but if you actually watched the match you cant denie that Chile deserved to win. Like I said, what Jara did was wrong but to me its both funny and ironic that the Uruguayans are so upset because they are known to be the masters of playing rough and using dirty tricks.
