Maybe you don't feel the passion like we do, that's the difference... It's not being drunk.. It's called "passion"... I like British commentators too, they're classy... They all have something different in every country... You need to learn to respect how different countries enjoy football... =)

I just went on youtube and search for Croatian commentators.. and yes, it's missing something... and since you're used to that, when you hear these kind of commentators (South American), you get weirded out... I now understand where you're coming from with that comment... Think of it as this "a Goal is the orgasm of a game"... That's where the Gooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooool comes from...

Sigh what you youngsters need to learn is that there IS a reason for that, NOW it is a part of tradition in some senses and still needed in others, BACK THEN it was done to allow the commentators assistant (or himself) to get the name of the player who scored so that it could be announced on spot as respect to the players and audience, so long story short, dont complain please :)
