we all have to accept it, England team is shite and our youngsters are not as promising as we say they are. They are overrated just like Rooney. Shaw, Lilana your performance does not justify your price tags. Most people ask why EPL clubs go for foreign footballers when we have talent within the country. The simple answer is, our players are too expensive and they lack skill. Thats the truth !

People, when you've finished slating England, try to remember that Costa Rica beat Italy and Uruguay, so a draw isn't bad. England are a young bunch of players with little experience playing as a team. They look good and faced paced at times. Least they don't bore the crap out of us and are pretty exciting to watch. It was a hard group and they did okay. Just saying...

I felt the general consensus amongst english fans and media was that this squad wasn't expected to be by any means good; it was a young, inexperienced team designated to prepare for the Euros and next World cup. Why is it that some england fans suddenly feel really disappointed by these results? Look at the merits of each individual game: overall we played far better attacking football than what we've had to put up with in recent years. Ultimately we only narrowly lost the first 2 games through misfortune and lack of final shot opportunities. All games could easily been won on another day. I think we have a reasonable chance to do well in the upcoming Euros. When the dust settles from this world cup you might realise this more.

With the exception of England v Italy, Italy have been far sh*ttier than England in my opinion. Of course England is the team everybody likes to hate regardless of results of other teams. Italy fans probably wont look at their own crap performances vs Uruguay and Costa Rica by focusing on england, who knew they wouldnt do sh*t at this tournament.
