How the fuck are Barcelona still in with a chance at the title ? I thought this would be their worst season in years. But if they beat Atletico madrid next week then they are the champions. simple as that ! Unbelievable La Liga race this season. Premier League and La liga are the two most exciting league in the world. Probably the 2 most watched and most followed as well. Forget that Bayerndesliga league !!

Your hate for the English league is quite simply pathetic. Don't be jealous because Serie A have inferior world wide media coverage. Don't be envious that outside of Italy, nobody has any interest in watching Serie A matches. EPL was only won today, just as La Liga will be won next week on the final day. What constitutes 'exciting league' if not that ? 2 English teams have over 100 league goals this season. The excitements, the dramas, The high tempo, and the rip-roaring stadiums atmosphere, and not forgetting the pre-match pettifoggery, That's what makes our league what it is. Atletico Madrid have done tremendously well to outperformed the likes of Real Madrid and Barcelona throughout the season thus ensuring it goes down to the final match. EPL < Serie A . Now trot on loser

I think this has a lot to do with many defenses figuring out how to park the bus properly and crowd his usual lanes. A lot more of his shots are from distance with tons of people in the box to deflect or block them. Also the speed and accuracy of the passing to and by him has been down this year. Less penetration, tighter spaces, recovery from injury, and maybe him saving himself for the World Cup.

I Agree with SheenaTL. In addition, Tata is new to Barca's system. Last season Messi was playing in system arranged by Pep and Tito. I feel this season he is getting less support. For instance, for him to make run from right down to middle of the box, he needs at least two Barca players crossing in front of him to distract the defense, but I see less of that movement from the team.

yeah you guys are right. I really hope he gets back to his old self. Every game i watched last season I just knew messi would do something magical. I know he did great this season with the hat trick against Madrid and all, but i hope he gets back to his perfect form, especially for the world cup.

CamrenCrew, he/she/it is not grammatically incorrect. By structuring the sentence in this manner (subject + "to be" verb + past participle), he/she/it refers to an action that has happened at an unspecified time before now. Have you never heard of the present perfect tense? ...now, its convenience is debatable (in my opinion not appropriate), but that does now make it grammatically incorrect.
