Shaquille - DonĀ“t waste your time my friend, the myths created around the EPL are so strong that plain lies have now become the gospel truth. IĀ“ll give you an example...EPL fans will tell you that itĀ“s the best league in the world because each year there are 5 or 6 clubs that can win the league whilst La Liga is a two horse race and there is only 1 team in the Bundesliga, but when you look at the FACTS it couldnĀ“t be further from the truth. Since the EPL started in 92/93 there have been 5 different champions with United winning 13 of the 22 leagues and leaving just 9 to be shared amongst the other 4 teams. During that same period in La Liga there have been 6 different winners with Barcelona winning 10 and 7 different champions in the Bundesliga with Bayern winning 12, 1 less than United!

It was a friendly... Everton sucked, yes. However, two of the goals were gifts due to defensive errors. How can you possibly draw any conclusions as to the strength leagues based on pre-season friendly between two teams is ridiculous!

Yep 3 -1 to United during a pre-season in which half of RM's squad did not start training until this week, whilst the only first team player that was missing for United was Van Persie. EPL fans have always boasted that what made the EPL better than any other league was that the mid/low table teams in the EPL were better than the mid/low table teams in LL. If the domination of mid table Spanish teams in the Europa League for the last decade wasn't enough to proof how wrong this myth was, we have once again witnessed during these pre-season fixtures that teams in LL are tactically and technically much better than those in the EPL, as Malaga and Celta Vigo have demonstrated by showing overwhelming superiority over the likes of Newcastle, West Ham and Everton.
