Everton fought valiantly to take a slender lead to Manchester, but with the enormous resources that City possesses, the Toffees will have to raise their game to reach the Capital One Cup Final. Joel Robles took 1 of his rare opportunities to shine with both hands.

that's what happens when Kompany isn't there .. excuse me but to be honest, Demichelis & Mangala together, are not as good as Kompany .. so much errors this season !

Navas finally scores! We can certainly get back from this! Come on city!

Good performance for Robles, but Navas' goal was smart one and very difficult to stop

Why would Pellegrini be ousted from city is beyond me, He has done so well in his role and if they are willing to throw more money for Pep and have him a higher transfer kitty just give it to Manuel and watch what he can do. Honestly if Pep wanted a real challenge he'd go to United or better yet Go to Aston Villa now and revive them. Doubt he'd do it though, It would be a challenge.

He did well, but he is how you say, One Season Wonder. He did amazing in his first season. He did great in his second. This is the third season, and we are doing worse than we were doing last season. What We want is to do well in
1. PL
2. CL
3. bringing our Academy players to first team
and Pellegrini is failing massively on 1 and 3. I don't know how he will do in CL. Pellegrini's tactics are questionable to say the least, and this season it looks like we are getting smashed by any big teams we play, so the speculation of Pep coming is not for nothing. Also if we can get pep who has managed big teams and is tactically competent, why not.

you should not talk since you're not City fans. He's not a good manager for City. Period.

The amount of injuries to key players, it's about depth and Manuel is developing that. Pep won't bring that. If city want titles I'd say develop a good bond with your manager. Too much of this manager swapping for my liking.

This is fucking embarrassing the way Manchester City played. The amount of class players they have on their team, they should be beating every team not named RM/Barcelona/ Bayern Munich by at least 3-4 goals. They made Everton look like fucking world stars.

Kevin De Bruyne made more than 20 runs forward but no one gives him a pass. Mancity stars are afraid off there place in the team. At Wolfburg the played for etch other that's the difference.

that run from navas was excellent awareness, and honestly though agüero did well to see it, too much of the credit was given to him whilst he'd have likely been caught on his heels if navas had stayed in his line.

Man city remind me of our Milan, with the exception that they actually have a lot of world class players. Tonight, they just seemed to be in autopilot. Lacking any real desire to do anything substantial and really only putting in the minimum. Toure was walking pace for nearly the entire game. Bar that one moment of magic from aguero to open up their defence for the goal, they did nothing. Whether you have quality or not, attitude is paramount in football.

Personally I did not expect this result at all but then again Everton have been getting better and better lately and should start to be more feared and not underestimated but the bigger english sides. I hope they go on to win the League cup.
