Basel is not a good team. Do not justify how poo Liverpool is. Real Madrid beat Basel 5-1. When Basel beats a Madrid, barca, or Munich then you can say they are "good". Liver-poo will do nothing this year, thanks to one of the worst management of a transfer window I have ever seen. Suarez for a dancing monkey...duhhhhh.

Liverpool did not dominant ludogrates....they was lucky to walk away with a victory. And Madrid is nortious for playing below their own standards. And correct that's Chelsea thou...last year's Chelsea at that. This year roster for Chelsea is much better slot of key improvments. And either way Chelsea is not in the same ranking as the three teams I stated above. I'm not trying to bash Basel here they are decent but not good. Liverpool on the othe hand is a team that should be expected to perform....at least if you have 5 ucl's I would expect that...no?

You do realize that Basel beat Munich 2-3 years ago?Ok... they got murdered 7:0 in the rematch... but they won.They also beat Chelsea last year.But we don't care if teams keep underestimating them.

Good point but you undermined it by saying they lost 7-0 in the rematch lol. This is soccer, any team can win at any time, this is why it's such an entertaining sports. but I'm talking about consistency when Basel makes ucl finala on a regular basis then we can say they are good. Or when they beat Munich 3-2 and then they beat them again instead of losing 7-0

I'm not surprise Liverpool lost to Basel. Basel have always been a stubborn team to go down. Credits to them for the win. Mignolet is a world class keeper but Liverpool's defense have always made him look terrible. And it's a disaster that they couldn't replace a player like Suarez. I know this Liverpool team is better than their result speaks. Brendan Rodgers knows what he is doing. Have faith in him.
