I believe Porto will come back stronger next season and make some serious investment. They are a huge club and can attract the most talented players, so I expect a strong Porto in next season's Champions league

The Portuguese league is so under-rated. They have some class players and produce class players

Actually I think a lot of people are seeing or at least have seen the last five years the quality of the Portuguese league. If I'm not mistaken, they will surpass Italy on the UEFA league ranking anytime soon, making them 4th only behind England, Spain and Germany.

Not trying to be disrespectful, but isn't it always from the same trio (benfica, porto, sporting lisbon)? So that doesn't make the LEAGUE that good :/ GREAT three teams though !!

@decentK yes of course. they are the Big Three in Portugal. but there are other quality teams too that have been competing in Europe in recent years, for example Braga who were in the EL final vs Porto three years ago and Boavista who has a big name.

Well, england as 3 or 4 teams that compete for the title as well, so... Besides, there are lots of players who are bought from those smaller portuguese clubs onto the bigger ones.
