People, there will never be any progress when we as a people continue, challenging, defending and excusing unethical, immoral and prejudiced behavior. Are we not better than this ? If so, than we must demand that FiFa and all affiliated clubs exercise a unilateral code and that both the perpetrators and ensure that Government as an important stakeholder is also held accountable, and that there is no impunity, such that collectively this detrimental element is dealt with. One people, One World, One game.

Disgraceful racist fans! They should be banned from entering the stadium for doing that!!

Very frustrating match to watch. Fans were disgraceful but also the referee's performance was horrible! I have been to the stadium many times and they always have Chiquita blow up bananas so I don't think this was intended to be racist. Then again throwing other objects on the field and at the referees makes me feel ashamed to be a Feyenoord supporter.

the Chiquita banana was thrown at Gervinho, that was blatant. guys, i know it comes spontaneous to somewhat defend the attitude of your fans, but frankly if i were you, after what happened in Rome and here in this match, i'd keep my mouth shut. and if i'd open my mouth, it would be to further condemn, apologize; and not trying to find dubious excuses to save the face. there nothing left to save, really.

Lol shpalman stop being a b*tch. There are more racist scandals in football in Italy then in any other country in EuropeI can remember an Incident with Mario Balotelli who was playing for Ac Milan who was racial abused by Roma fans with monkey chants.Italy is corrupt, racist and is gonna be bankrupt within a couple years and we in the north can clean your sh*t up!

BoBo 9 years ago
LOL KdeBruyne... so just because Italy has a bigger problem with it, we can't point out the racism from the Feyenoord fans? Milan is one shit hole but Feyenoord just showed us Rotterdam is no way better. And you want to bring in politics into this? That's not even low. It's incredible how off tangent your 'argument' is. Whew.

Lol Bobo you hyprocritical whore, yeah i bring politics in to this. Italian government demands 8 million for a broken fountain! 8 million!!! Lol that says it all. Italy is going to be bankrupt within in a couple years and i can wait to see you on the street begging for money

@KdeBruyne & Bobo, you both are very ignorant keep going by stereotypes mounted by your mainstream media. Italy is no worst than any other country when it comes to racism, let's start to make things clear. and what you both keep showing with your statements, is that there's much more troglodytes "in the north", than there is in italy. and i can confirm that also by personal experience. what Feyenoord fans have been doing since the 1st leg is f*cking disgusting, plain and simple. they damaged a Bernini, reduced one of most beautiful european squares into a garbage dump, they pissed all over the place in the streets. in complicity with dutch media they tried to put around fake news about some stabbings by Roma fans, all blatantly false. and now this sh*t in the 2nd leg. (...)

(...) look at you KdeBruyne, and your last comment. that's called Xenophobia. you wish to see Italians begging for money, really? do you know that Italy has the 3rd biggest gold reserve in the world you piece of ingnorant sh*t? do you know who Bernini is? do you even ART ? when i visited Belgium, people i met there begged me "we know we give a bad impression, but please when you go away, don't say that people here are sh*t". same way Dutch media tried to shamelessly cover for Feyenoord's disgraceful behaviour. hypocrisy runs in the blood there "in the north".

disgraceful, disgraceful fans. i hope UEFA takes action. throwing objects and bananas at Gervinho, getting the match suspended. what a shame. Roma is blatantly out of form, but they managed to close it after Manu's equalizer. not a nice match, the dutch drama was sadly the more "entertaining" part of it. now i hope stupid things won't happen afterwards, so far Roma fans have been totally nice and respectful.

Lol you mean banana like these? You can hardly throw those things www.youtube.com/watch?v=eV4sxgA0lcUI doubt it was a racial thing, they have black players aswell and a multi cultural fan base with Moluccans Surinam Indonesion Maroccan Turkish people.Throwing coins and lighters on the pitch and trashing a historic city is disgraceful behaviour.
