Of all time: David Beckham for obvious reasons; whenever United or later Real Madrid would get a freekick close enough I was thinking goal! Cometh the moment, cometh the man! He was the man!
Current: Cristiano Ronaldo because he has a higher success rate at freekicks and is capable of scoring even from 40 yards and sometimes from very tight angles.
