@tuan_jinn To be fair mate, I'm not sure promotion and relegation work the same way in the state than they do in european country. Yeah, found the proof, a quote from wikipedia:

In the United States, no professional league in any of the major pro sports leagues in the US or Canada, including the professional soccer leagues, currently uses a system of promotion and relegation.

There is no promotion/relegation in North American soccer. As long as the salary cap stays in place, it would be incredibly damaging to the current parity (e.g. Colorado finished last in the West two years ago - made the Western semifinals a year later and was one goal from going to MLS Cup).

In Europe, the hierarchy doesn't really change, whereas in MLS the bottom team could very well be top in a years time. It simply doesn't make sense in the current system to punish teams for a poor single season. If we did ever incorporate it, I would encourage MLS to use the Liga MX model, where relegation is decided based on the results of the previous three years.

Lol it there was relegation in MLS TFC would be in the 7 th division or something if it existed.

And you guys were the runners-up last season. Proves how fast things can change here.

@Sunflash Don't even want to talk about Montreal this season. What did we do to deserve this. :(
