Let's name some of the best players over 35+ playing right now!

I'd say Javier Zanetti as the best over 35 as he's played consistently for 16-17 years, and he's only looked better with age.

Ryan Giggs and Del Piero are definitely worth a mention too! However, these two seem to be used as super subs as of late.

I'm not going to say Beckham, because he's been playing in the MLS. Sure, he looked great in Gary Neville's testimonial, but if he goes to PSG... then we'll know if he's still got it (over a long period of time in one of europe's top 5 leagues).

Raul isn't as great as he used to be, but he's still got plenty of class in him!

Ok, so now you guys can name some more living legends.

I think everyone's named the best over 35, how about 33-35? I'd say Di Natale for that department, he's 33, and Serie A's top scorer last season. Absolutely class.

van nistelrooy, giggs, thierry henry (34, but still). i think giggs is the best right now, he's just brilliant.

Giggs was a fantastic player, but he is overrated now. He is not that good anymore TBH. Better than you can expect, but people are overrating him so much for his part-time job.

What an interesting thread! Considering most of the player named here took their retreat, I think we should revive it now.

Here some name:
Hilton, 40 years old Montpellier defender who helped his side to a draw against PSG, Monaco and Lyon this season.
Buffon of course who need no presentation and who is 39 now.
John Terry, 36 now, even though I have no idea how good he's been for Aston Villa this season. :)

Aduriz still got it despite being soon 36. Emre Belozoglu is starter for Basaksehir I think, Joaquin is doing good in Betis. Berezutskiy brothers and Ignashevich are still amongst best CBs in Russia, McAuley is in WBA, Brad Jones in Feyenoord and Pizarro is in Koln!

@Croatian All of them are true. :D Alway liked the Berezutskiy brother by the way, is propably cause of me CSKA career in Fifa 12 but its hard not to love the fact that those 2 twin brother manage to play for the same club for such a long time. :D
