HERE'S THE QUESTION!! 

Maradona, Pele, Best or Messi. Many argue that Messi is the best of HIS GENERATION not of all time! That's what is tickling my mind. Is Messi the best just of his generation or of all time? 

I'd say he is the best of his generation only. Times were different back then and so was football. Comparing generations I find past generation have better players. They literally established and developed all the footy techniques that we use today. They played with harsher conditions and environments with footballs made of pig bladders. Players back then were tough as nails. No doubt Messi is on the list of best players of all time but he's simply not the best. This is just my opinion.
