Pretty much agree. But I feel like sometimes they glorify past players. I mean Sanchez last on the top 100 list and Hazard (from what i can see) not even on it?

Not surprised they put Lampard and Gerrard next to each other either..

David James is at 86, Ozil is at 85. Oooook. Ivanovic two spots ahead of Cech. Zabeleta ahead of Evra. David Silva ahead of Sol Campbell. Not to mention a total lack of Jermaine Defoe.

I do not mean to hate but is there anything earth shattering Özil and Sanchez have done to even be considered in the Top100? Same goes for Kane, the guy is only 22? Seems a bit over the top.

The Petr Cech one was quite surprising to see. I'd expect him to at least be in top 30.

Ridiculous list. Makes me hate a "newspaper" like The Telegraph even more and at the same time question my knowledge on football if so called experts made this laughable list.

From the list, its clear that career longevity is an important criteria.

Put Joe Hart at 81. and then Yaya Toure ahead of Tony Adams.

It looks ridiculous to some point, but mind that: they are playing in different eras, teams, trends and years count.... so.... comparing them is hard, yet to make such a list

Ryan Giggs number one ? HWY ?

Thiery Henry is the greatest EPL era player . If you wonder why ? Just go back and watch his EPL career . When someone thought about EPL they would say ooh that is where Thiery Henry plays . Who cares about Giggs other than his brothers wife and United fans ?
