I think the best 3 goalies are:

  1. Claudio Bravo
  2. Manuel Neuer
  3. Joe Hart

What do you think?

@Emre that is one crazy goalie, but i don't really see a huge benefit of having a goalie that relishes one vs one situaitons :P
@Croatian right? i am wondering how often he lets in a goal because he likes one v ones >

EDIT: crazy skills tho :P

Buffon
Neuer
De gea

@Emrecan Just saw the highlight myself and let you tell me, it wasn't a brillant game for Uruguay and their defense. :(

Hey guys, let's update this thread! For me, the best goalies nowaday are:

  1. Neuer
  2. De Gea
  3. Oblak

And Courtois as runner-up. :P

Too bad Cech and Buffon have downgraded a bit since last time we posted in this thread. :P

^almost exactly as you said imo

  1. Neuer
  2. de Gea
  3. Oblak
  4. Handanovic
  5. Courtois
  6. ter Stegen
  7. Ederson
  8. Lloris
  9. Buffon
  10. Alisson

That's purely my opinion btw. Handanovic, Courtois and ter Stegen are all interchangeable.

@Croatian I agree with this list, maybe would put Courtois over Handanovic and Ederson over Ter Stegen however. Really happy to hear Alisson is doing so well. I remember him from a pre season game against PSG and he did a really good first impression on me, I like his style. I wish I followed Serie A a bit more. Very good list by the way Croatian, much deserved +1 my good friend.

Ter Stegen has been a wall lately. Would put them over both.
Neuer : injured
Buffon : Legendary but aging, I won’t put them. Based on form.

1- De gea
2- Ter Stegen
3- Oblak
4- Ederson
5- acenjo ( Villareal )
6- Courtois
7- Cech
8- Lloris

Highly subjective knowing that I’m not basing myself on saves per goals or any other stats... Put DDG first because I got influenced by the majority, for Stegen, since he has been the main keeper, I watch him constantly he is incredible.

De Gea is alway at least in top 2, thats speak volume of his quality. :D Also, I'm curious to see Neuer come back for Bayern to see how he will play, hopefully, his level won't have drop because of the long time he was injured. :(

@tiki, if you take by form Alisson should surely be there in front of Cech and Lloris, and is Asenjo really that good this season? I've seen a lot of him last season and he seemed great but also had some injury problems IIRC at start of the season. I sadly haven't watched much of La Liga this season.

@Golefty Yeah, I agree with amir, Areola is nice and have lots of potential but man can he make some big mistake. I would propably say Donnaruma is better than him.
