There was never a British goalkeeper in La Liga?

Nope, never.. Funny huh?
The question may be are English goalkeepers good enough to play there? Or England just want to keep their best for EPL?

Surprising to say the least....

Well the last great English goalkeeper was Peter Shilton in my opinion. I never considered David Seaman a great goalkeeper, Joe Hart is on his way I think...

But of course there are few good English goalkeepers who could have played in La Liga. James, Given, maybe even Green were not so bad back in the day...

England and Spain both keep their players pretty close to home usually. I don't think the issue is English keepers not getting a shot in La Liga, it's just Spanish keepers are a, better than English keepers (generally), and b, almost every La Liga side has a Spanish starter.
