We all agree on 80% of the list which is good..
What I dont get is how people can leave out Varane.
Also, I dont rate Boateng that high in the list.

where is Mamadou Sakho better than half of the defenders at the moment,Most of the players are name not players who a perfoming at the moment.Everyone is mad now i said it Varane is overrated!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you watched the France-Germany game last night you can't possibly tell me Varane is overrated. He's not in my top 10, but he probably would be by the end of the season.

@liverpoll sorry but Sakho is not as good as these defenders and Varane is not overrated, he's so athletic and so crisp in his interventions

Not every week but I watch him often enough and I have watched him for years for our national team

btw If Smalling keep this form whole season,which is likely, he will be in top 5 or 3 CB .

Why do I see Pique in some of the lists here?! I mean I get that this is only a matter of opinion but seriously wtf.

Also, @Sun, Kompamy hasn't been the same for a while... From what I understand, he started out strong this year but he's back to average now. Enlighten me my friend I don't follow the EPL much.

@mladen pain to watch liverpool ha at least we can score goal not 1-0 every freaking game,smalling 5-3 can u share what your smoking because he is being playing good for only 3 month or so

Totally agree about Pique, ever since the world cup he's been very shaky. About Kompany, last year for him was really poor, but he's been great this season. City haven't allowed opponents to score much at all this season, and while having a solid defensive midfielder helps with that, Kompany himself hasn't put a foot wrong.

If you look at the rest of my list, it's hard to rate anyone above him, believe me, I would if I could. Ramos, Hummels, and Cheillini have all been meh over the last year, Smalling hasn't played at the level for long enough, realistically only Bentia/Boateng/Smalling have had better seasons so far out of my top 10.
