UCL semi-finals (RM-CITY)
rayrex7 8 years ago
Real Madrid, Croatia 26 797

The UCL semis are tomorrow!

Its Manchester city vs Real madrid!

Real madrid are on a fine form in attack winning their last 5 matchs in all campaigns.

Last 5 matchs:
WWWWW
GF: 18
GA: 3

Manchester City played amazingly and beat the power horses PSG which is quite unpredictable.

Last 5 matches
WWWDW
GF: 11
GA: 2

Real madrid and city both are one of the best teams when it comes to attack and simultaneously both teams defense aren't that convincing, however on the side note. Both teams goalkeepers are undoubtedly BRICK WALLS.

With this being City's first semi's, it is gonna be an exciting night at the etihad, however Reals experience and form may triumph.

Prediction:

1-2 RMA win
1-1 Draw

I think City will go through...this will be one of those weird UCL seasons that EPL is going to lift the cup against all odds....

Yaya Toure will be missing, that's mayor blow for City. I hope we will see a lot of goals, I go for the City win 2:1.

Real Madrid's defense has been in shambles in recent games.. We can expect Aguero and De Bruyne scoring for City.
If City picks their right combination of back four, they will be fine.. But even City leaves acres of space in the middle and lose control of the match.

So, its an open game where several chances would be created . just converting those would be a challenge.

I predict 2-2 for tomorrows match..

After two legs, I believe City can just pip the Spanish giants. :)

I actually think Vazquez will start btw. Has scored 2 goals in 2 matches, although he wasn't too shabby against Villarreal (didn't see the other match), but the lad must have got confidence atm.

PSG without Verrati is not PSG, City showed great things this year in CL, they used to be one dimensional now they can loose possession and still get a result but sincerly Madrid is going through without any doubt, in a double confrontations sadly Madrid wont be eleminated.

1 st scenario :
Madrid scores first early in first half and the tie is over.
2 nd scenario :
Goaless first half, tied second half with or without goals and Madrid will manage to get a result in Spain.
3 rd scenario :
City score first and put pressure on Madrid players who loose confidence, Madrid to do a remontada in second leg and they are comeback specialists.

I think the best score for City is 1-1, because Madrid wont go super sayan in second leg just like vs Juve last year and City could hit them when they will hesitate to go forward or to defend. Not sure that City has the type of players or the mental to park the bus and defend the lead at Bernabeu, better go for a result there...

Everything is possible in first leg but clearly second leg in Bernabeu is clearly a big advantage, Madrid know very well how to put pressure at home while needing desperatly a result.

I clearly didnt want this draw to happen, one of the two is going to the final and i clearly who have loved to see Atletico*Bayern in the final.

BBC clearly starting, Otamendi on Ronaldo will be key and Bale is expected to do well since he is more adapted to English sides.

Betting on Madrid without conviction, Draw for other semi final.

edit : Is Benz injured ?

City can't park the bus, and certainly not against Real Madrid. City can win 3:0 and still may get trashed at Bernabeu.
@tiki I wouldn't be that sure for Madrid to win today without Ronaldo.

Indeed, not the best match I saw, it was fine to chat with you, my fellow livescore user. ;)

That was a very tactically suppressed match. Neither team wanted to risk pushing forward because they were fully aware of their opposition's ability to counter-attack. Even still, it was a tale of two halves. City were terrific in the first, and Madrid in the second. I'm surprised neither team managed to score despite playing so well, but perhaps the absences of Benzema, Silva, Ronaldo, and Toure played a part in that.

Good performences : Hart, Keylor, Pepe, MOdric, Otamendi

Okay performences : KDB, Marcelo, Clichy, Bale, Jesé, Silva

Bad performences : Kroos looked like playing a friendly, Ramos, Jesus Navas useless, Aguero not feededand unable to participate to build ups, Benz probably was injured.

None of those teams showed that they deserve to play a CL final but clearly RM can only get better City is almost out now.

@Dynastian98 Benzema played but was injured, in my opinion, he shouldn't had played, he looked terrible. :(

This is a result that favors City. Benabeau is a very hard place to win, but if City can score atleast one goal, then Real will have to score twice. It is an uphill battle for City that they lost Silva, but if either Sterling or KDB have a decent game, then a draw will be enough for City to go through....

We need James in the next game. We need someone who can move the ball very quickly. A James-Miro-Luka trio would be great if all of BBC are back. If Benz still isn't fit, then we should play Jese. He was great today.
