Well done USA. Klinnsman is doing a good job. Most of USA's population don't care about the beautiful game but that number is decreasing every year. USA should organize the 2022 WC instead of Qatar when/if they find bribes from the Qataris to FIFA to host it. It would boost "soccer" to be at least the 2nd major sport over there.

ohhh this guy didnt play and that guy was missing! it doesnt really matter which players played. germany is getting ready for the summer break, the usa are in preparation for a major tournament, their mental and fitness levels are completely different at this point in time. you could see how the germans were just trotting along in the second half. same with netherlands. and sure enough, both teams lost in the last 5 mins...

While a part of the US nation doesn't enjoy the beautiful game, you have to enjoy the passion of the American players. They're very hardworking and it's wonderful to watch

@barca_love slowly but surely, people are catching on here. It helps that other sports are declining here while the beautiful game continues to make progress. I enjoyed watching Columbia during the WC, I can't wait Copa America it should be a lot of fun!

European rule of soccer # 451: If the USA beats a top-tier team, the USA got lucky(or the opponent doesn't bring its so-called A-team.) If the USA loses to a top-tier team, it's proof the USA sucks.

If USA invests bunch of money and Americans start to have an interest in soccer, the USMNT will take the 1st place on the FIFA rating and the MLS becomes the world best league. Keep crying, Europeans ;)

Great joke. England have the best youth academy in the world with world class raw talents like Barkley, wilshere, welbeck, ward prowse, John stones, chambers, chamberlain, sterling all who are young and world class and can easily compete with Germany, Italy, Spain, Belgium etc.

Ireland got lucky. We never played beckham, Gerard, Lampard, scholes, Terry, seaman, Cole, and we deserved to win. USA is so crap we handed them a goal in the 2010 World Cup when Robert green spilled the shot under his legs. We will destroy em.

Unikko, im sorry but literally everything you said is false and makes 0 sense. First off, best youth system is in spain, so there goes your bubble. "Ireland got lucky" actually you guys just played like crap and your manager is an old fart who doesn't understand the game. Out of the young prospects you mentioned, only Sterling has really taken the next step, although I really do like Stones as a player. Wilshere is crap man, get used to it. bones of glass and a big mouth.
