I don't think United intended to play possession football in this match. Its just that WBA were putting all their men behind the ball so naturally United will appear to have more possession. Not criticizing WBA for the way they played though, they were simply doing what was needed for them to win, and they deserved it. I think the problem with our squad is that we have too many attacking players, and not enough defensive players that are quality or experienced. There is no balance in the squad. One moment we are dominating the game and all of a sudden we are trailing. Just one counter attack from the opponent and that's it.

I think Man Utd was really unlucky today. They attacked and attacked but what they got was somehow a bunch of inaccurate shots, great saves by Myhill, and a goal from a deflection. I deserved to have at least 1 point with what they showed. It is true that if they did better at finishing they might deserve to finish the game, but we should still consider their effort. Van Persie, except for the missed penalty, which anyone can miss it too, did an okay job with the chances he created and how he made Myhill the hero he was today.
