I knew Adnan Januzaj was going to miss as he was so nervous, by checking his boots for mud looking at nothing and feeling his legs, and Phil Jones was always going to miss because he's Phil Jones, what were you thinking Moyes

I didn't know that the amount of away goals didn't matter in the Capital One Cup. Manchester Utd managed to score an away goal and Sunderland didn't (Within 90 minutes). So actually, United should have gone through to the next round. Good game though :)

Actually, only UEFA applies the away-goals rule. It's kinda unfair to be honest. I think it should be removed from all competitions...

Actually, the Capital One Cup does count away goals, however, they only apply that rule if the teams are still tied after extra time. Since Manchester United and Sunderland were still tied at the end of regulation time, the game went into extra time. If the score had remained the same, then Manchester United would have won on away goals, however, Bardsley and Hernandez scored for Sunderland and Manchester United respectively to tie up the score on aggregate and on away goals as well(since the game was played at Old Trafford).

Jose is stupid. he shoud not sell mata!!! Worse....selling to manu. Also we buy salah? Wtf? He is mediocre and a basel player! Yes he scored 3 vs us but vs others? Just because he scored vs us doesnt mean he js good. Just look at other games he played. So mediocre. Just watch the swiss league. He is nothing and overrated!!

With Manures mediocre home record, there is no way they can catch up to Arsenal

and now you praise mourinho for that move. i\'m united fan but i don\'t like what he is doing for taking advantage and making other teams in danger (maybe we can..). ofcourse, manu can improve with mata around and i\'m glad that he come here. this doesn\'t mean we will act like we are going to help chelsea win the league. manu doesn\'t make alliance because all teams are competitors but we have rivals. that is the way it should look like. anyway i hope manu will compete for the top 4. we need to go for cl next season. this season? i doubt that
