F.ck i wish the big european clubs would let the talented argentine under 23 players join for the olympics. Happy angel correa is there though, he's the only one good enough for this team.

Portugal don't have their best under 23 players too. When the portuguses couch made the frist call he called 52 players and only 6/7 players were allowed by the clubs to go to the olympics. But Portugal have, apparently, more good players to work with!

Both overrated nations. England would smash all of the with world class youngsters like Kane, alli, Barkley, shaw, rashford, sterling etc.

Lmfao most of the players you names are rubbish and play for rubbish teams. Andre Gomez and renato Sanchez will sit on the bench at barca and Bayern for the whole season LOL!

Just another arrogant naive Englishman who thinks the premier league is the only league that exists. Try watching some football from other leagues mate, you might learn a thing or two

I watched serie a , la liga and bubdesliga all closely last season and they were boring. Serie a and bubdesliga is really predictable juve and Bayern winning their league every year and la liga is always between real barca and atleti of course the prem is the best who would predict Leicester to win the title

Premier league's the most entertaining, granted. But in terms of quality they're not even close anymore, I think England's record in the recent world cups & euros proves that :)

Just because English teams don't win the champions league doesn't mean the league is weak. English team dominated the champions league in 2005-2012. Now it's Spain's turn to dominate soon or later England will be back up there especially when England has some of the best managers attracting top talent to the league now.

Ha are your high... When did English clubs dominate the Champions League??? you can go back 30 years and they have won a whopping 4 times haha please Italy in same span won 7, Germany has won 3, Portugal 2 and the country that just started dominating Spain from 2012 on has won 9 in 30 years. Learn some facts before you make ridiculous comments if you said 70s then you would be correct.... Will be no different this year as English clubs are terrible

A bunch of third stage players, but with a very talented coach. This coach has made a fantastic work in young national teams in last years. No surprise at all.

I disagree with your comment about third stage players, Bruno Fernandes is a pretty good playmaking midfielder and Tobias Figuerido will get called to the senior side, he just needs to get away from Sporting as JJ doesnt play the kids in the backend

Yeh there is a bit of truth in that...except remember that this is Olympics-Under 23's....So Ronaldo isn't playing.....BTW its true that Argentina are gd...They beat Germany 4-2 before the world cup.....Without Messi.....But he is insane!!! Carries Arge!!! Whereas Portugal can win Euros without Ronaldo!!!

no it means ronaldo sucks and portugal can beat anyone without him.
also means messi is the best player in the world and any team loses without him.

Yes thats correct....Ronaldo played minimal minutes...and as we all saw-went off within 15 mins of the final-Not saying he isn't a gd player...but it proves how lethal Portugal are as a team, even without him!!
