What a massive moment that was !
Everton had their good spell in the first half but couldn't just cope with Liverpool's attacking intent in the second, they were too strong for them.
And Barkley is honestly becoming a bit overrated. He showed so much promise during his rise back in 2014 but he has been average since then, and today he was completely out of the game (aside from that horrible challenge on Henderson).

Barkley should have had a red card.

The match was intense and I hope Sturridge starts earlier as this will enable Liverpool kill off their matches.

Klopp was brilliant when he put Sturridge and Can in, to push Everton in their own backyard

Mane needs to give some credit to Sturridge, but he ignored sturridge while celebrating, and he's younger than sturridge, unlucky sturridge. good game from both.

If you saw back the celebration, Mane was aware of the referee's whistle so he's stopped celebrate. As the ref was pointed for the firework, he celebrate back. Celebrate with all teammate. Not ignoring anybody. Think positive mate.

Why all the red arrows for stating the obvious? Mane acted like he dribbled through a sea of Everton defenders on his own to score that goal.

Even though the match created very few chances, I have to give it to Everton in restricting our play for the most part ! Their fans created an awesome and hostile atmosphere which can shake even the best of teams but we managed to keep our nerves and edge the victory. Also, the referee did quite well for the most part, letting the game go on, but the Barkley challenge should have been a red.

What I like about Klopp's teams is that they always play passionately and with a smile despite any challenges and opponents.

I thought the guy who threw the firework and the guy who ran on the field show be given life bans! Everton, West Ham, and Chelsea have some of the worst fans!

Congrats to Liverpool, "our" Jürgen is doing a pretty damn good job there. ;)

It's amazing how exiciting and of course entertaining the Premier League is, fast, physical with the best coaches and characters. The German Bundesliga seems a bit - let's say - boring compared to the EPL.

You know he's overrated when he was described as 'diamond of football'.

I actually thought Koeman was right to tell him he needs to fix up, or he will be dropped.

He was totally right to drop him but the fans were furious and wanted to see him back in the team. Tonight's performance might show them that he has a lot of work to do before becoming a real "Diamond"

I actually though Origi was a LW today. He kept going way too deep, especially towards the left.

His dribbles were also mostly unsuccessful. Sturridge is way better.

Yeah, I thought his dribbling was quite woeful. That being said I don't really watch him too much, as he isn't always playing. I don't want to come out with big statements yet.
