Who knows, but same shit happened to Chelsea last year. Im pretty sure it has something to do with either the managers ego or the players.Only clear thing here is that there is an invisible psychological/industrial semantic we are not perceiving.

It seems that had Ranieri just continued playing the same way as last season and not tried to change too quickly, Leicester city could've well been in the running to defend their title.
