as much I want arsenal to lose but cant deny they look dangerous at times. sanchez is always involved. good finish from ozil using his weaker foot. i wonder if Arsenal really played bad since they created dangerous chaces to score

We were pretty sh*t tbh. With all due respect, if that wasn't Middlesbrough, we wouldn't have won the game. But I'm glad to see the stubborn old fox changing the formation after 20 years... Hopefully the lads can get accustomed to the formation and play like this in the future!

And that 1-4 loss where the ref was completely blind...3 offside goals for Lorient and 7 fouls on Lyon player...even Barca can lost because of that kind of shitty referee management...and we won 2-1 against Besiktas under pressure where the fucking away fans caused chaos and harmed Lyon supoorters...dont wanna say that?

Aaaaaand Assenal always want to sign Lacazette before and now...if they sign him for £65m Lyon will make a huge profit from nothing...that is the value that Wenger can offer cause Lacazette is worth at least £80m...

No one cares about the Emirates cup, but a 6-0 loss head2head even in a friendly is a loss to be ashamed of. Deal with it.

Love Sanchez probably the best strike we had since Henry left. I hope he stays and Wenger leaves.

This game showed that, Arsene is probably staying and is testing out new tactics for next season.

The performance was just terrible to be said.. Ramsey did well, but Monreal defending ability is horrible. The moment Traore came in he looked like scoring every time he had ball. On the other side Wenger changed formation (impossibru) and Ramsey played really well.

Adama never looks like scoring, I haven't seen worse end product my whole life. He probably didn't even score this season.

traore gave monreal a hard time in the previous game as well. this season has proved that monreal has a lot of trouble with pacey opponents

One of the worst football matches I've ever had the displeasure of watching. Boro are just horrific.

What I liked was to see some change, the fact that this stubborn prof is trying new things. I liked the formation, but it wasn't very effective since they didn't have much time to apply it perfectly. But after all, our few quality players saved our a$$. Holding was exceptional too.

Are you having a laugh? wasn't it holding who literally made the most pathetic of attempts to stop downing from getting that cross into the box? Exceptional?

Considering his age, yes. He stopped him and Traore so many times. The goal was Gabriel and Kos fault, not Rob. It was the space between them.

It is the center backs' fault even though the full back forgoes his responsibility to stop a ball coming in from a winger who is so past his best he plays at walking pace?

Well it was a new formation and you would expect a few mistakes wouldn't you? But Downing was really good too. If Holding was a classic LB I would have supported your statement. Ok I change my statement down to "very good" from "Exceptional". It sure wasn't his best in that moment.

The formation hasn't helped. In fact, it's probably made things worse. Boro, who haven't scored in 6 of their 8 games could have gotten 3 goals. Attack hasn't improved either. Still, 3 points, we need to really improve. #COYG
