Weren't your team just embarrassed by the team who came 10th in the Prem, last year? I don't think you've got much room to be talking about who is and is not 'average'. ;)

Didn't see the game but I really liked the highlights of Janssen. I was skeptical about him because I felt he may have been too similar to Kane but he's actually added a lot to Spurs. His strength in the buildup to the goal he scored and the final goal from Harrison was fantastic. Spurs have really got themselves a quality striker to go alongside Kane.

Aside from Arsenal, Spurs are the only title challenging club in the league with continuity on their side. You can't guarantee Chelsea, City, and United are going to bounce back simply because they've splashed the cash and gotten new managers. It'll take time for the players to adjust, the managers to instill their systems, and some of those signings might not even work out. And Liverpool? Klopp hasn't even had a full season yet. He's going to need more time to complete his vision. No chance Liverpool completes the double over Spurs. You're in for a rude awakening on Matchday 3.

If you're going to try and troll like that, you should probably think twice before doing it about a team who have won the Young Player of the Year award on 4 out of the last 5 seasons, and who got the league's best goal difference with the league's youngest team. But keep telling yourself you 'missed out' on Dele Alli, when honestly you weren't a big enough club to be on his agent's radar.

Regardless of what you said about Milan, it is still a big team. However, Spurs never was and never will be. Don't compare them to big European teams please.

Milan is a team so big that they just got bought by a Chinese investor, after selling off their assets such as the team bus. I do remember our last couple of visits to the San Siro, though, when we knocked out both Milan and Inter from European competition. And that was with a team only half as good as the one we have now. Going back of course we can also find that Spurs were the first team to win a club double in England, first British team to win a European trophy, and 3rd in all time FA Cup victories. Is that comparable to AC Milan's history? No, but Tottenham has indeed been a big club before, and right now? We're bigger than you, and you know it. ;)

@Lodatz. That's not the point. You say that Spurs is a big team now, right. OK, can you put them with those who are big these years like Barca, Madrid, Bayren, Atletico or even PSG, I don't think so. See Chelsea is a big team as they can fight big clubs in CL but Spurs cannot for sure.

@Kaka_CS: and why would that be relevant? You tried to claim that Spurs are 'average', when they are clearly better than either team from Milan, and you also tried to claim that Spurs have never been a big club. Except for those times when, oh look, we have. I can respect the glorious history of AC Milan, so why is it you have to be so disrespectful all time, hmm? So sad.

@Lodatz. I got it. You have to understand that being better is to win at least something. Oh, I forget, you don't know this as your only concern is to finish above Arsenal not to win a trophy, right? even with this you never succeed. hahahha.
-1
Lodatz 8 years ago

I'd say at the very least that to be 'better' one should be able to qualify for European football. You know, like Spurs are doing in the Champions League, and like even Internazionale are doing in the EL. Life must be pretty shtty for a Milan fan right now. :) Is that why you're being a sad little troll?
1
KaKa_CS 8 years ago
AC Milan, Italy 1 910
@Lodatz, you started to curse it means you lost the argument. You know deep inside that I'm right. Keep qualifying and win nothing and say your team is a big team. hahahaha.

You lost the argument the moment you gave up defending Milan, and instead wittered on about Arsenal. Sorry your life is so shtty right now. Maybe you should switch to being an Inter fan. At least you would still have European football!

@Lodatz. I don't need to defend Milan. Everyone (with a brain) knows the difference between MILAN and spurs! No way you can compare them, MILAN way better for sure. You are happy with your life as you don't have any pressure regarding spurs. The most important thing for you is to qualify but not to win anything, and you arguing. No ambition, just qualify --> average team. Don't deny facts. hahahha.

Lodatz 8 years ago

"I don't need to defend Milan. Everyone (with a brain) knows the difference between MILAN and spurs!"

Yes. Spurs are the team that Milan have not actually ever beaten. We've met 3 times. Tottenham have won twice, and drawn once. Oh, but you know who HAS beaten us? Inter. They've beaten us twice, so even though we beat them here, they have a good rivalry with us. So the difference appears to be that Milan are not as good as Tottenham OR Inter. :) Laterz, rookie.
1
KaKa_CS 8 years ago
AC Milan, Italy 1 910
@Lodatz. What kind of logic is that? keep beating teams does not mean that you are big except if you win trophies and you avoid talking about that because you will feel embarrassed. It so sad that you are looking of records between teams in order to make a history for your club. You have to understand this: no trophies --> no history --> not a big team. Come with another thing as your points are funny.
-1
Lodatz 8 years ago
Tottenham Hotspur, England 150 4992
"What kind of logic is that?" The kind that makes sense. :) It's called having facts and figures on your side. I can see this is an unfamiliar concept to you.

Oh, and no, you silly boy, being 'big' wasn't the point. Being BETTER was the point, and I just proved that we are. :)

As for size itself? Yes, being the 3rd highest winner of the FA Cup means that we have a rich history of winning trophies. Why are you trying so hard to troll, little boy? Are you just an Arsenal fan hiding behind a different username? Are you shpalman? Or are you just a pathetic little loser who knows he's lost and is now taking us in circles?

It must really hurt you knowing that Spurs are better than you, and that I am right. Poor baby.

@Lodatz. See you are so stupid to not understand that a big team is a better team. It is so sad you are trying to make a history for an average team. Adding a picture of Mardona wearing your team shirt does not mean you are a big team. BTW, wearing spurs shirt in addition to drugs are the two worst mistakes Mardona has made. admit it. hahahahah. Another thing, who is shpalman? A spurs player? See your history is so vague. hhahahha.
-1
Lodatz 8 years ago
Tottenham Hotspur, England 150 4992
The only thing that's vague is the reason why you're still talking. I'd say "we'll see you in Europe", but who knows when you'll manage to get there again? I might tune in for the Milan derby though, just to watch Inter destroy you.

@Lodatz. You live in complete denial saying that spurs is a big team and better than Milan. Don't you dare to say that again or you will find me facing you with the facts that hurts. BTW, shpalman is a Milan fan. It looks you have a serious issue with Milan. Go play somewhere else kido because this is Milan.
0
Lodatz 8 years ago
Tottenham Hotspur, England 150 4992
"You live in complete denial saying that spurs is a big team and better than Milan."

No, I merely cite the fact that Tottenham have beaten Milan 2 out of 3 meetings, drawing the other, and that Tottenham were title contenders in the PL, will be playing in the CL this season, whereas Milan failed to even make the Europa League in an inferior league.

"Don't you dare to say that again or you will find me facing you with the facts that hurts."

Oh well go right ahead, seeing as you've provided nothing so far.

"This is Milan"

No, actually, this is a video about Tottenham vs Inter. You are the one who is bringing up average, crappy teams like Milan. Is that because you want to be an Inter fan instead? Seems like a good idea, since Milan are so crap. Bye bye.
0
KaKa_CS 8 years ago
AC Milan, Italy 1 910
@Lodatz. With all respect if you compare spurs and MILAN history, you will find that Milan is a big and better team while spurs is average. That's the fact you are denying.
0
Lodatz 8 years ago
Tottenham Hotspur, England 150 4992
Well, no, because I already said that Milan have a glorious history. But history is not the present, and in the present we are both a bigger club (larger worldwide fanbase, more money) and a better team (beat you twice out of three times, drawing the other, are in the CL while you didn't even make the EL in an inferior league).

That's the Fact, right there. :)

Milan prob has more fans to be honest. Spurs has 8m fans on fb, 1,6m on twitter.. Milan has 3,7m on twitter, 25m on facebook. Otherwise, I agree with Lodatz. Spurs is currently a much better team, and also has the money to continue on being so in difference to AC Milan.. Sorry to say.

Regardless of what you say, Milan "WAS" a big team same as spurs. The difference is spurs are going to be back as a big team. They have the money and the club management has been splendid whereas AC MILAN are going down because they have signed so many free transfer players. Unless they spend on good players and get a world class manager AC MILAN will be going down again this season. If not, I believe crystal palace or middlesbrough can beat your favorite team easily. LOL

@KTBFFHSWE, respect to you but the argument was spurs never was a big team. See a big team can win a champions league at least. See Chelsea and Man U fans can talk as they won CL but spurs fans mush shut up.

@RHAKSASA "Regardless of what you say, Milan "WAS" a big team same as spurs. The difference is spurs are going to be back as a big team"

You are kidding right?? when was spurs a big team to compare it Milan. Here are some records for you sweety:

MILAN:
Champions League 7
Cup Winners' Cup 2
Super Cup 5
Intercontinental Cup 3
Club World Cup 1

spurs:
Champions League 0
Europa League 2
Cup Winners' Cup 1
Super Cup 0

And you said spurs was big or even can be compared to MILAN, smh.

Encouraging performance from Janssen. He placed the fifth goal directly into the corner with his weaker foot; scouts have praised his ambidexterity. His link up play will be important too. I hope Pochettino continues to experiment with a lineup featuring both Janssen and Kane.
