Busquets just had a really good game. Barcelona defence gets massively exposed when Busquets has a bad game.

You really have to play football to understand how hard Suarez second goal is to pull off.

arseholes and fanboys always voting messi as motm because he is a "legend" when in truth Suarez was miles better and deserves motm

I've said it before on Footyroom, on Copa fixtures : until now I've been downvoted for saying this... Aleix Vidal is better than Sergi Roberto in almost every aspect of his game. He also shows great commitment whenever he is playing. I am not saying this because he used to play for Sevilla but because I care about football and I think the best men should play for the best clubs.

I totally agree with you. RB is not a natural position for Sergi Roberto. He looks tired when playing on that position. After watching the whole game, I saw how Vidal actually have that defensive instinct while pushing upwards all the time. Roberto can push upwards (as he is a midfielder) but didn't defend too well, the body language and pace. I'm looking forward for Vidal to start soon

Forget the thumb downs bro, I've have a minus score of 30 because a troll is multi accounting just to hate on me, and I agree with you. Also, to add on, Roberto shouldn't be option one in big games, an example was against Manchester City away.

I swear this commentator is half the reason there are so many arguments about the leagues etc. Americans and Canadians etc. watch these guys, and therefore now think that every single straightforward goal by Barcelona is a work of footballing genius, and then they watch PL games where the commentators are not full of crap, and they think it must suck by comparison. And then they call Kane one-dimensional. It's so dumb.

It's weird that you say that. To me English commentary in the premier league seems to lack passion for the sport where as in Spanish commentary in Spain or South America utilize more creative/passionate responses. Ray Hudson to me emulates that passion from Spanish commentary using English and I actually prefer it that way. My point is that although you may not like the commentary, some regions of the world prefer the commentary to be more passionate/creative. I find it kind of fascinating how a language and culture inspire the commentary in such ways. To each his own.

Passion is great, but the problem is that Ray Hudson and Phil Schaen (or however you spell his name) treat every Barcelona goal as pure perfection. Suarez has to literally cross it in to Messi for a tap-in and they'll still call it absolute perfection. Hell, they even call all of Ronaldo's headers to be "absolute genius". I hate this kind of idiotic crap. The British commentators may be less ecstatic, but at least they make more sense.

@Dynastian98 As i said before this is a matter of preference. I don't mean this as a sign of disrespect but if you were fluent in Spanish and watched a game anywhere in South America, your viewpoint on commentary might shift. You should also understand that these are the highlights and there is a decent amount of critique throughout the game when players have errors on the pitch. I've watched countless games under Ray Hudson and have been watching football for quite awhile and I honestly prefer his commentary vs other English commentary. I do enjoy both, it.s just a matter of preference.

Yes, it's a matter of preference. But they are the worst commentator duo ever. The American dude only describes everything I already see. But I see that Busquets passes it to the outside. So he doesn't have to tell me. In radio that would be great. But I have the picture, so he should commentate. Not describe! And Ray Hudson is so one dimensional. His screaming is so annoying. And everything is just always magic and genius. He escalates everything to a level of ridiculousness and that hurts his overall performance. I have nothing against passion. But of you go 1000% everytime it get's exhausting very very quickly. Save your words for the real magic moments.

I like how Vidal scored before Mascherano. Hopefully he gets at least 1 goal in any way before he retires though.

Messi is the heart of the team. He might not do a lot without the rest of the team parts, but the team lives from the passes and energy he pumps to the rest of the team. When Messi retires, they will need to find someone new for a heart transplant.

Messi did some awesome passes as usual, but was declined because of offside or a foul, and also a failed finish. But you are absolutely correct. without him, i dont know where Barca would be today

Nah, against Atletico, he called Iniesta's cross ' cross of genius' when it literally the normal ball you see every match, just this time it was accurate. I remember watching that match and sadly because I wore earphones my ears HURTED for like 10 minutes. He has passion, but he's a commentator ffs, he getting paid more than I am, he should do his job in a professional manner, not as a child.

Thank you. There's still hope. I always have to turn the sound off when he comes on. Everything is genius when some Barca or Real player does it. He is the most annoying commentator in football history. It's NOT passion. It's an act. Played very very badly!

The way he stops, drags it to his right and opens up his body and then curls it into the corner: magnificent technique. I can't do any of that.

Well, he was bought to fill this position, but S.Roberto was performing so good that Vidal has been on the bench mostly.

Where would you have played him ? I mean ok he was a winger back at Almeria but when he moved to Sevilla Unai Emery made him one of the best RBs in the league
