Bayern got their own "Iniesta" - Thiago Alcantara. This guy has unbelievable ball control and passing skills.

Munich is getting better and better under Ancelotti. I think he is about to find the right formation for his team. Hope we achieve greater result in the UCL.

How PEP didn't win a Champions League title with Bayern? He has to be an idiot of a coach to not win after having an amazing talent and experienced squad. The commentator starts to mention the substitutes on the bench, and I was thinking WHAT THE HECK so many top class players on the bench alone Ribery, Muller, and Lahm.

Just be quiet. Guardiola showed some entertaining football with which Munich fans can be satisfied enough and that's why few fans blame on him. How dare you call him an idiot, you idiot?

Although Bayern Munich won this match with Full Possession during the match but this was a poor win because 1/0 result and the chances bayern missed and Rafina right back sucks and how alba played central back and Atletico Madrid did not played good because 15 points that made 1st in this group and if atletico madrid scored goal that will killed bayern fans

Savic is too slow, this make Atelti less solid defensively this season, still a non imporant game for them, their intensity in key games is their main strenght, not sure they wanted to loose that much enrgy on it today...

I really don't understand why Lewandowski was man of the match. Although he scored the only goal, he hasn't been that good overall. I want to know the criteria for picking man of the match bcos i"m pretty sure bayern midfield and defense bossed this game

@jaaar I understand that he scored goal. But isn't that his responsibility just like how defending well is defender's responsibility? For example, Lewandowski, a striker, main purpose is to score and he scored only one goal. Matt Hummels, a defender main purpose to defend, and he defended very well, didn't concede any goal. So I don't see how it makes sense that he won motm by just scoring a goal and being bellow par for the remainder of the game. I believe if u do you ur job averagely, u don't deserve an "A",u deserve a "C" but if u do ur job beyond expectation, then u now truly deserve an A.
Part of the reason why I am mentioning this is because nowadays defenders & midfielders are being marginalized more than we've ever seen. Nowadays, most the heroes are only the goal scorers.

Yes totally agreed. However, I believe that people voted for Lewan coz they only watched the game highlight and the highlight is all about goal.

i've never understood why barca let him go knowing that xavi will leave soon or retire and that iniesta needed a substitute

@ares11 It was his choice to leave to get more play time, also Guardiola was a big reason why he went to Bayern.

Beside, Pep really liked him, he was the heir of Xavi and Iniesta

I would rather have Ngolo Kante or Verrati or Modric as dream buys, i also like Pjanic, Isco and Ozil. Thiago tries coplicated things at times while the Barça post tjust need a passing/combinating machine, he has some vision and got good skills but doesnt impress me as the players i listed.
