Now THAT is proper Italian defensive performance : No nonsense whatsoever ! Juve are really lucky to have the likes of Chiellini and Bonucci at the back. I'd really love to see Gigi sign off with a CL trophy in his hands. By the way, best referee I've seen in a while.

I can say this is the start of the golden era of football. Football was too boring and monotonous recently, because of stupid tiki-talkers who pass the ball over and over again for 90 minutes without any brilliant tactics and act like football genius. It was just the dark age. In the last decade, football was not football; it would rather be called table tennis(tiki taka). Now Juve recovers its form and is ready to revive their glory with superior strategy and star players. We've already punished Barca who has ruined the entire football. This result is just the starting point.

Are you talking about the Arsenal - Bayern game? Because that was a real mistake by the ref.
And we didn't need that pen and red to go through. However, what happened in bernabeu was a joke, the ref had great position and vision in CR's goal but still decided to let him score. That couldn't have been a mistake unless the ref is literally blind.

Because UEFA have fined Barcelona twice (~€60,000) for displaying the 'Estelada' Catalan Independence flag because it's seen as a political symbol. Classic stupid UEFA

Good god man, it's not the money, it's the right to wave the flag! There's "respect" written all over the place and Uefa has none.

juve knows what types of chances they would allow barca. the real work was to close down the maneuvers inside the box, constanntly double-manning key players in neymar and messi, i don't think they gave too much thought about the other chances, they know how to defend and only let barca take chances that are mostly gonna go wide. for this they would have to thank chiellini and bonucci, classic italian defenders, rough plays but not overboard, and referee, easily the best so far in the tournament, this is what people mean when they say modern strikers wouldn't do as well in the past, defenders are very generous in dishing out tackles, ref is not so quick to grant a fk when you roll on the ground from a challenge, mostly you'll just have to toughen up.
