GGMU! Solid defence once again, with Matic shutting down Okazaki's supply to Vardy and Jones' covering of the left flank. The substitutions definitely provided us with a fresh impetus, and was especially impressed with Lingard's movement's to open space. The final save by De Gea once again proves why he is the best shotstopper in the world.

This might be an unpopular opinion but I don't think Lukaku should be United penalty taker. He's not that great of a penalty taker. If he was a little bit more calm and had looked up once on his run-up, he'd have realized that the goalkeeper had already started diving the way he was going to shoot it.

Schmeicel is one hell of a keeper. I'd like to see him play in ManUtd one day just like his father once did

I can't believe this, but Valencia becomes a weak link for MU squad this year. So many open space for him, a good attacking full back will get one or two assists in this match and this happened in 2 previous matches too.

Go back to Seria A mate and watch out for your bum, since either Juve, Roma, Inter or Napoli can kick some asses...
Also, this is not AC Milan page, if you want to say whatever you want, then say it in your own team page. This year EPL will be more competitive than last year. ManU, ManC, Liverpool and Chelsea willl all be at least qualified for the knockout stage. Only Spurs has a hard time in the group stage (group of death IMO)....Milan is not even in the CL, and eventhough I respect the tradition of AC Milan, your team is not qualified for CL this year, so you have no say in this matter whatsoever... And don't tell me what a lucky draw is, if any team managed to go to CL, at least they had to earn it, and Milan didn't lol!

Lukaku is the only footballer that can score 3 goals in 2 games but can't score a penalty. Fucking priceless

Messi missed a penalty today and still scored 2 goals. It happens all the time, great players who score a lot of goals can still miss penalties because they are human. I don't see why you're so amazed by this like you have never seen it happen before!

I totally agree with you. The penalty taker should be either Pogba, Miki or Blind. And when Ibra comeback, he'd be the best penalty taker.

Great win, could have been another 4-0 tho, if Mata's goal was allowed and if Lukaku scored his penalty!! :D

Btw FootyRoom, why do you have to use streamable instead of playwire?? It really lags for me...Not sure about anyone else!?! I would much rather you use playwire but... :)

nope mata was, fellaini wasn't...ref made correct decisions...it was difficult to see from the camera angle but when they put a line across the pitch you could see the ref was correct

I'm sure you would never have put up Man Utd as 1 prior to season. You were so "humble" with you feet on the ground. Now you're already champions and it's still August! An injury, a bad game or poor form could change that pretty quickly... so stay "humble" at least til we practically know who the champions are.

Also we have to mention Kasper. Leicester city goalkeeper has been great, he got a lot of good save against Mata, Pogba, Lukaku and Mkhatarian :D He's frustrated our attacking forces in this game.

haha yeah, he's not as fast as most CB is, but his game reading and awareness is really good. Also can''t wait for the Super Sunday match tomorrow, Liverpool vs Arsenal :D Liverpool should win it with the current situation, but I am a bit worried about Liverpool defense, if Arsenal can exploit it then it would be really tough!
