I have to give credit when credit is due; Marc Albrighton is the best delivery man in Leicester City hands down.

This tactical approach from klopp makes the defenders vulnerable but most of the blame must go on the defenders
we need VvD !

I know it since he plays with Aston Villa years back then, before he broke his feet.

That cross from Coutinho and that header from Salah was amazing. Liverpool, I know you're getting rid of Coutinho as we can see but honestly, don't do it. KEEP HIM. Don't let Barca have him.

Are you for real... Liverpool never wants to get rid of him nor to sell him. Barca and Cout wanted the move, and Liv stopped it

Such a random thing what happened to Mignolet missing the ball like that. I'm happy that didn't cost them 2 points because he got there so much ahead of Vardy it would have been tragic if Vardy scored.
Good stop.

That was one of the worst penalties I've seen recently. Cost Leicester the game as well...

that is a typical vardy pen. Goes with power instead of placement. Props to mignolet for the save

Vardy places like a sunday league footballer at times haha. He's so black and white with his play. Run fast, hit ball hard as possible. In the title winning season he was another class, but seems he hasn't really progressed.

watch liverpool's 3rd goal again, watch Ndidi.. wow the guy is just jogging back and not caring AT all that its a 5v2! :o looks like he either gives no shits at all or hes getting some money on the side. you cant be a defensive midfielder and jog super slowly back in that situation...
even maguire managed to get back to defend from further up the pitch

Hate seeing this happen. That's why I always respect the defenders that run back no matter what as fast as possible, as long as it isn't a goal, it isn't a goal and can be prevented. Even a tiny shadow in the corner of an attackers eye can be enough. No passion should be a reason to be dropped at times.

Noticed that too.. Ndidi played the pass awkwardly for Mcguire's run and he wasn't able to control it, a liverpool counterattack then happens and Ndidi carelessly jogs towards Leicester's own half, meanwhile three liverpool players manage to pass him and run far ahead of him...

How was that a pen when Mignolet hit the ball and Vardy didn't?

you mean when he got 5% of the ball and 95% of the man? if he hadn't taken vardy out the ref doesn't know if vardy would've been able to get that ball afterwards or not, but he does know that vardy has been denied the opportunity to get the ball that mingolet miskicked

@Greatone As long as HE was the one playing the ball and Vardy didnt touch it at all, the fould can not be on him.

Thing is. Mignolet got the ball and Vardy didn't yes. But it's the follow through of it. Most the force didn't even hit the ball, it's soft compared to older days, but that's how football is, that can go either way easily regardless of what team is playing or what competition. If it's dangerous, then it's dangerous. That tackle in the middle of the field would most probably be a foul due to how aggressive it is. In the penalty area, it's risky. Players are valuable too much now days, clubs need their players more than ever, one injury can be the end of your season for some teams. Refs have been told to be more careful, reducing the physicality of the game. This means calls like this with excessive force can go either way.

the first Leicester goal was a foul on mignolet.. and there should have been a penalty for can's hand ball..
Why cant we have VAR in the premier league.. Happens every fu**g game..

Trust me, VAR in its current state does not help. We have this shit already in the Bundesliga and it creates even more controversy. Sometimes the VAR changes a wrong decision, sometimes he doesn't though. And then you always ask yourself: "Why did he correct the penalty desicion at one end but then ignored the same situation on the other end/in a different game?

there will always be controversy, referees are getting worse and worse (match fixing, cough cough) sadly.

Indeed. Okazaki held Migs left hand so he got late reaction to punch the ball

Great win to get some confidence back for the team, bit lucky though. But they really need to sort this defense out !!!

Finally we beat Leicester at King Power Stadium, but sure its very lucky to win this, leicester could score like 4-5 goals, our right back getting own over and over, win at this stadium for Liverpool its like Barcelona beat Real Sociedad at Anoeta, or like Real madrid beat Valencia at Mestalla .. very difficult ..

we might as well play with strikers at the back.. if we want to win a game we'll need 4 or 5 goals. just pathetic defending game after game.
