And I remember Rüdiger beeing dissed by Roma fans. He is developing into a really good defender.

Wonder wats the big deal about Morata.. he is not even half as good as some of the strikers in the PL! Its no surprise why RM chose to let him go.. he is too slow and not that great a striker!

Alvaro Morata is not a good choice for Chelsea. Their strategy prioritizes the teamwork. He is good in counter-attack and set as goal pitcher like Real Madrid.

Chelsea looked toothless without Morata.

The beauty of the goal is how he wrong foots Courtois. He sees the angle for the left post is more inviting and with his (and chelsea defender's) angle of running and he knows the keeper has the left post covered so he shoots across a ball that curls "in and out" rather than the usual "out and in" and manages to beat the keeper although the angle of curl is not in his favor. Courtois balls were shaking like crap that's why he gambles on where De Bruyne will shoot before does.. Great skill from the KDB

Superior instinct and great power!

Considering De Bruyne and Courtois history together, I'm alway glad to see the former score against the latter. :D A bit of retribution for what Courtois did to him. ;)

This is the price for selling Matic, to some extent, I think. This kind of game make me miss Matic, look at our midfielders line today, they could not compete with City's side. Only Kante did it well, others failed. Maybe it is because Fabregas drops his games lately, we need a player who can link up with strikers. Hazard, Morata are not enough with such a big game like against City.

Not winning the title with this lousy ass offense. bernardo silva on city's bench would walk into our starting xi with ease. Absolutely nobody capable of matchwinning individual brilliance in our squad other than hazard. Money wins u titles, as proven time and time again, we no longer have the spending power we once had.

LOL, it's not about spending power, Chelsea has more than enough money to buy almost any player they want, it is about the players they sign, and they don't have any offensive minded player in their team how can break though the middle, and connect the midfield centrally with the strikers and offer them another supply route all their central midfielders are defensive minded players like Kante, Bakayoko, Drinkwater and even Fabregas...they need somebody like KDB, or D.Silva or B. Silva to offer them more tactical opportunities....I see Chelsea now as a team which is solely made with players who can together function only in a certain formation....Unlike City whom we saw this season playing in all kinds of formations, you can never guess which team or formation Pep will start with.

Mou should learn this, if you want to win against conte dont allow his boys to keep possession for more than 5 secs. Wenga did it and got a point and today Pep did same and frustrated conte and got 3 points. If you park the bus at chelsea they will load you with goals. I luv DeBrunye's golazo. it sweet

"Mou should learn this": Did you miss some game last season? Mou outclassed Conte 2-0 (Chelsea with a big 0 short on target, 90 minutes). Wake up!

Hazard at home and De Bruyne away. De Bruyne bossed the game and scored and it was hard to remember Hazard was even playing for most of the game. Clearly shows who is the better and more consistent player even in big games.

LOL. Do you remember last year ?! (hazard scored 3 goals against city vs De Bruyne 0). I agree that KDB was on top today but Hazard didn't play badly. Also Hazard teamates didn't help him today and he just comes back from injury...

One game isn't every game. And this is Hazard's first PL start since his injury.

Disappointed at our performance and how we couldn't keep hold of the ball. OK I'm biased, but part of me wonders whether the Champions League fixture played a part in that. Having played away and a day later than City who played at home gave us only 1 day to train, vs 3 for City. I'm not blaming our loss on that, but saying it could have played a role.

Even if it did PL teams have had to deal with that forever and if you use that excuse then you are not fit for the title.

I'm not using this as an excuse, just trying to understand why we played so badly. Check my earlier comment in which I said we were totally outplayed by City.
