Hah... I don't even know what to think about that goal by Sterling... Seems he wanted to strike it with his right which would have been a classic case of 'forward choosing the wrong foot and everyone being like why did he not try his other foot that idiot???', but then... He actually used the foot that it made sense to use considering the flight of the ball and position of defender... and because it was at the last milisecond decision his finish was instinctive therefore he had no option of aiming. Had he aimed he would have never snuk it past the keeper at the near post... He does deserve credit for having the awareness to feel the defender blocking the angle for his right foot shot... But was it an intentional body feint?... Not so sure... That would have been utter genius..

better than ronaldo this season yes sure... but I don't think better than messi this season, messi is practically been carrying barca for a whole while now... but KDBs play has been on a similar level... killer goals and assists

if he choose right foot, ball trajectory will go straight to GK. i'd say he's underrated genius because he choose to kick with left foot from that angle.

As someone who really doubted Sterling, I'm happy to see him doing well.. But most of his good contributions are still very lucky ones. So I wouldn't say underrated genius. I think it might be Pep's plan for him... Defenders see him as less of a threat than other attackers, he is often quite free. His pace and improvisation abilities along with being marked less tightly make him fit perfectly in this team and contribute alot. It's actually refreshing to see a player who is not always briliant really work in a team better than a "better" player would have.

Great game, very intense...

MC had its chances, scored only one, Citi playing football is like from another planet @ the moment, it reminds me of last year's Chelsea, when Konte changed the playing formation and most teams got confused by it and it was too late to catch on...

Newcastle showed us today that MC is not invincible, soon all premier league teams will catch on to the playing style of Citi, but its gonna be too late of course, the gap is way too big, don't think MC is going to slip 5 games, no way, although we are talking about Soccer, life happens!!!

Congrats to Citi and Pep, what a great team and joy to watch!!!!
