if you watched the game you saw cavani and alves fighting over a free kick. and later cavani and neymar fighting over who was going to take the penalty . You don't find guys like Messi everywhere , he's the best and also shares. he told you Ney , stay at Barca and i will make you a ballon d'or a bon entendeur salut.

Cavani needs to learn his place. Even though he has been at the club for longer and is older than neymar, players like neymar only come round once every 10 years. Neymar should be taking every freekick and most penalties. Cavani needs to accept that

Actually Neymar is extremely talented and definitely a legend in the making, but Neymar has not yet proven he is one in a decade player; Look at Zidane, Ronaldinho, etc...the real rare gems are Messi, Ronaldo, Pele, etc and his character is what's proving my point even moreso.

Neymar may not have proven to be a one in a decade player just yet, but he is still one of the rare players of today. For the team's sake, he is the better option to take freekicks. Penalties are different and it's understandable if cavani wants to continue taking them

Maybe, but not in September, you have to earn respect in your team. Cavani was number 2 behind Zlatan too many years, to leave his 1st spot just because Neymar costed 222 Millions.

I totally agree @seniork9. The earlier Cavani accepts the fact that Neymar is now the face of PSG the better. Neymar is now the biggest franchise. Millions of people like me watch league 1 today because of Neymar. How did messi and ronaldo become who they are? They were given the freedom to do whatever they wanted to do. What is wrong about his character? Cavani we have already seen enough of you please stay away from free kicks and penalties for as to see what Neymar has to offer. show maturity and stop the greed. This is the absolute TRUTH.

If Messi wins ballon d'or for Neymar... how much has then Neymar won it for himself? It is not a prize someone else wins for you. It just sounds so wrong how you put it.

Messi barely gave freekickers and penalties away... Rare occasion or if Neymar had 2 goals, he'd gift him the opportunity for a hat-trick. The manager/captain should make sure there is a penalty taker and that's that. Neymar shouldn't be able to Waltz in and have this attitude, even allowing Alves to get involved. It's like penalties are there to keep your stats up to go towards the Balon D'or or something...

Ballon d'or is not for Messi so he can't decide to give it to anyone. That's why Neymar left Barca. He didn't trust any bs like that.

No it's good Neymar left. The MSN was not good for the game. Messi completely shadowed Neymar. Some soccer legends fancy Neymar than messi and vice versa based on their style of play. A super star like Neymar deserves to be the FACE of a big club like Messi=barca and Ronaldo = real madrid

Cavani should stop struggling with Naymar over freekicks and penalties in order to get the best out of Naymar. Like Messi in Barca or Ronaldo in real Madrid. That is why he left Barca for PSG.

the only place he gets a chance to take freekicks or penalty when he's not even supposed to was in barcelona. messi gave him a lot of chance to take free kicks and penalties so get your fact straight. now he's fighting with cavani over it. he left cause of our board.

The manager has to decide. But he hasn't which proves that Emery is not the best among coaches.

You may think that Marcelo had a bad game because of that own goal but he was actually the motm up until that goal. Lo Celco changed the game after he came in. A perfect substitute. Neymar was awful. He killed many positions.
Also; coach needs to determine who takes the freekicks or the penalties or the team will have some problems after some time. They do not get along well. Neymar wants to take every opportunity. Lyon was kinda unlucky.
Edit: One more thing, Lyon's President Aulos needs to shut up and learn not to meddle in to every damn conversation.
