Respect to the two teams. Respect Barcelona to spend time and such a nice ceremony to tribute Chapecoense's players.

I think Barca should forget about replacing Neymar and instead focus on strengthening their defense and adding quality to their mid. Deulofeu will be more than capable of filling Neymar's role although he's less of a quality than Neymar, but he could be just as effective. Also, this year could be a good one for La Masia. I really hope Barca don't sign a player this summer and be patient with the youth players and allow them grow and develop into the team. That's the only way to rebuild their (once dominant) system. BTW congrats to both teams.

Who needs that Rectum Neymar-bitch (just to put even bigger faggot attributes to Barca, by falling down each time the opposing team's player touches him?) when you have Delofeu?!
G. Delofeu = 1 goal; 2 assists (statistically looking, the same as Messi). That's why Barca insisted to bring him back to from San Siro to Nou Camp! But Gerrard will have Milan & Montella to thank to for his great progress in the game! Before his arrival in Milan, it was as if he buried himself in that idiotic team Everton (Who are they, anyway?!).
Sop glad that Barca will benefit from him and give him serious play-time!

Nothing to be impressed, well expected from Barca against recovering chape. Busquet's goal is the only highlight. Goodluck for Chapecoense! Such a motivated and strong hearted club.

How i want barca NOT to sign coutinho, dembele, dybala or m'bape and etc. Just give players like deulofeu, s roberto, d suarez and samper a chance. And we still have arda.

I think if their squad was more solid they would. But it's like they have to compete in hard times. They've been given so much mnoey from Neymar and obviously after the initial fraud of Neymar's purchase to Barca, there is a lot of pressure of them. They need to compete with Real extremely hard right now because Real's 3CL in recent years means they are top dogs. Also it's a business and Neymar generated a lot of income and future income for Barca. I guess in modern football it would be lovely to see youth play but it's rare. United started playing youth under Mou I felt so good when they played so well. Gives you hope for your team and the future of your team seeing as purchased players can be sold easily (neymar).

There is something special in academy players that is just not there in purchasing already-star players.
You're a man u fan i will say this. You can never buy a giggs or scholes in the market for 100 plus millions.

Its interesting that teams that use their home grown players or bought and developed players (from young age) usually become force to be reckon with. Atletico madrid. Dortmund, monaco and recently real madrid.
I mean the best example of this is man u actually. In ferguson era you guys had the strict policy of buying players, you guys seldom bought players and if you did, you did it with the right player and right price.
And in post ferguson era man u started the splash the cash policy. Now compare your club in fergie era and post fergie era.

Modern football is post-fergie era to me. Money gets thrown now since it's all a business. I know we won't get a scholes or giggs again by buying a player. I think it's mostly in the mentality of the player. I see Pogba similar to Scholes with his passing, but difference is Scholes had no flair, he got the ball and did what was needed, no messing about. It feels Pogba could be like that, but with a price tag like that he automatically thinks he can just go about and almost showboat or act like he's not trying. With these academy players like Rashford, you seen them play their heart out since they may never get a chance like this again.

Dortmund, Atletico, Monaco aren't as big when it comes to being a business as United. United need big names to keep their business a float at the top level. I think this is the hard part. Because we relied on older players and big signings like Di Maria etc.. which I wish he stayed... But I guess when a club gets so big it's hard to take such a risk on a few academy players. Especially if the team isn't stable. You could put your whole club at risk. Like United needed Champions league the other season or Adidas would half their sponsorship income. 2 or 3 18 year olds could impact a whole club for the worse. Of course they could do it for the best (class of 92') But it's too much of a risk it seems for big clubs. RM have the ability to play youth since they have a solid mixture I guess

Agree with you, and I also think the 222million is dangerous because you become tempted to spend them right away and teams are going to ask over the moon (Dembele is not worth 100million). The squad will be ok, we just have to press hard, run for the ball, and hustle. There is quality.

Totally agree kalbus. I think deulofeu is just right for that spot. Just defense and maybe midfield needs improvement.

And yeah 100m for dembele is just ridiculous.
The only player i want barca to sign is verratti.
