19 games into the season and B Munich leads by 16 points... and their salty fans have the audacity to point finger at Ligue 1 being boring. They've won 5 straight league titles and are heading towards the sixth... in fact they've won ten of the 15 last seasons.

The bundesliga has become very boring 4 years ago it wasn't, its become a farm league to all of the others that are willing to spend big money. All of the great teams in other leagues have great players that came from the Bundesliga. The team owners in Germany are too profit oriented to keep their quality. The only team that shows resilience to selling its players AND buys already good players from other leagues is Bayern. That's why they dominate.

Overall Ligue 1 is more boring than Bundesliga imo.

It's not like PSG won't have dominant spell, if Monaco didn't happen PSG would continue with Ligue 1 wins for solid 5 years. Lyon won 7 titles in row not so far ago.

I could buy that it might be more boring as it is not better in overall. But if it is because of one or a few dominant teams?! That's like how every major league looks like today. I just don't like the hypocrisy in that argument.

We've been largely buying outside of Germany too, don't pretend like biggest clubs in country don't primarily look at players from their league.

Tolisso, Coman, James, Vidal, Costa, Benatia, Thiago, Martinez, Boateng, Robben, Ribery, van Bommel and tons of other players came from foreign countries.

lol... I meant every major league has like 1-3 or so dominant teams. Calling out ligue 1 as boring because PSG is now dominant is hypocrisy. In that case almost all leagues are boring.

You do realise that the difference between the team in 2nd place and 10th place is just four points, right? Sure, there is not much competition (although Dortmund were 1st for 3 weeks) for the title, but that doesn't negate the fact that there is very tense competition between teams fighting for CL, EL, and avoiding relegation. Ligue 1 is just downright boring.

Also, when a Bayern fan does point out that Ligue 1 is boring, you can think that they are being hypocritical (to an extent, that is the case) but that doesn't make the point any less true. Bundesliga has the hgihest attendance records out of any league in the world, but ligue 1... fans would fall asleep watching that crap.

Ridiculous point. The attendances are mainly domestic fans. That is Germans, and as being the most populated country in europe you could expect them have more ppl at their games. And with less teams on top division means less smaller teams. But since you judge "boring" according to its audience and fans, than BPL is most interesting and Bundesliga very boring in comparison. And how does it matter what team finishes 3rd, 5th or 7th when the winner is always the same?! You use the exact same argument to call out Ligue 1 as boring and Bundesliga as fun... I call that being a biased B Munich fan. My first comment has traces of it all over your reply.

So to the fans of Bundesliga teams, according to you at least, does it not matter if their team finishes 2nd, 5th, or 7th? Are they not excited and entertained by their teams' every game? Bundesliga is exciting, arguably the most exciting. But, those who don't watch any of its games and care only about its winner - like you - will have prejudice towards the league. And please, don't blame Bayern for making smart investments, instead of pouring money down the drain like PSG. And, always remember, that plastic teams like yours will never even get close to winning the Champions League. Because, behind all the Arab money, your club is missing many things that are essential to the game: real fans, chemistry between players big money players, and someone in Paris to give a damn about your club.

I'm not blaming B Munich for anything. I'm not even talking about most of the things you bring up. My problem is with some salty B Munich fans accusing Ligue 1 for being boring because PSG being dominant. My reply is that if that's your argument of a boring league then Bundesliga is boring too. You're not in your replies addressing the issue in question with your irrelevant conclusions.

@Pelle, that is absolutely correct and I didn't claim anything about it. However I just feel like bottom tier of Ligue 1 is way worse than any of top 5 leagues. Even clubs like Saint-Ettiene, Lille and Bordeaux have fell after hyping them at start of the season.

Didn't mean to offend you though, just stating my opinion (I still like watching teams like Marseille or Monaco).

Ligue 1 isn't boring just because PSG win it all the time. It's because all the other teams are shit. At least Bundesliga has Dortmund, Leipzig, Schalke etc (Although this is the worst season for German teams). And there are interesting races (just not the title race, but 2nd, 3rd place etc.). Ligue 1? no. And Bundesliage has fans that alone make the game exciting. Ligue 1? no. So, that's why Ligue 1 is boring and not the Bundesliga.

Monaco have done pretty well in UCL and the league. And the race for UCL spots are usually pretty tight in Ligue 1. No it's boring to you because you're a fan of a bundesliga team, hence your comments are full of bias. And shit teams is a criterion for a bad league... not necessarily a boring league.

@_Pelle_ What about fans? The biggest factor of an interesting league? Ligue 1 is a plastic league, with fans like you who started supporting the PSG 1-2 year ago. Also, shit teams do make for a boring league, and a bad one. Would you want to watch England's 3rd division? No, because the teams are trash. Same goes for Ligue 1.

Ur points are weak. Fans are more or less biased in favor of their favorite league. And I've been in this site for at least 7-8 years and a PSG fan for like 20 years. It is annoying when ppl like u start going "plastic" when out of arguments... U could be a bandwagoner for suddenly supporting B Munich for all I know.

Ban @glorymanunited LMAO.

Lewandowski back in-form (still top scorer), James with two great assists (and fantastic perfomance!), WC Muller starting from now on ;) Although I was bit uncomfortable to fact that we conceded two to Werder.

You're defo wrong. If anyone is in shortlist for UCL favorites, it's Bayern. Not United. And Lewy likes Bayern and loves his teammates. He is getting fantastic wage too. He really doesn't have reason to leave.

I dont wanna point fingers, so i rather talk to my self yeah, PL is not what it use to be, and i dont say that cuz Man City raping the leauge this year.
Is there anything overrated, is P, the only reason PL is still nr1 is because betting sites making most money out of it, and therefor can also pay better to players around the world ..

And if Bayern was in PL, we would either lead the leauge or be fighting for the number one spot, what are Man U doing? Strugling against Crystal Palace !

Good luck @ CL, bless

@glorymanunited Why do you think that the PL is overrated? Man City won their league way before Bayern. As for the CL, he has a higher chance of winning it with Bayern than any PL team; especially Man Utd. But, I don't expect any less idiotic statements coming from an American Man Utd fan... oh, and have fun not making it past the round of 16... again.

Nah, there's a difference. Even though City are so far ahead, you can still feel that it's not quite over. Such is the nature of the PL. I'm not a fan of a PL team, But I have to say they have the most interesting league by far.
