Spurs' fullbacks are ravaged at the moment, a key strength last season. With Trippier hurt, it looks like Dier will shift to right back in a back 4 vs Newcastle this weekend. Walker-Peters isn't ready to be the 2nd option. I consider Dier and Sissoko options at RB solely in a pinch, never as backup to Trippier.
Trippier needs competition, not experiments backing him up. He must be pushed because he's not comfortable against the PL top 6 and in the Champions League,
Sign a right back.
Rose has been missed badly by Spurs. Hopefully he can kick on once he returns.

Son is training again, and should return around September from his broken forearm sustained while playing for South Korea.
Lamela's injury has been unpredictable. First, it didn't seem serious, then out for a month, then out indefinitely no surgery, then seback + surgery..
Lamela will be a wildcard this year. It'd be ideal if he can come back in time for UCL group games while Dele is suspended in Europe. I have no idea when he;s coming back and who knows if his game was permanently affected by this persistent injury.
People joke about his faults and his transfer fee, but Lamela is a key player for Spurs. He embodies Poch's pressing philosophy; although he fouls a lot, he works his ass off. Aside from Eriksen, nobody in the squad is better than Lamela at through balls, including Dele.

Selling Bonnuci will be real problem for juve this season unless they get a good defender.

judging from what? This is a friendly. Juventus are two weeks behind Spurs in their pre-season prep. Serie A doesn't start for another two weeks, whilst spurs' season starts next week.

Juventus did well and were winning even before Dani Alves' one season. Plus I expect a lot more movements before the transfer window is shut. All the teams with buying power in Serie A will make more signings. Personally, Juventus' issue is in midfield and not the defense. A much better midfield is needed if they seriously want to challenge in Europe.
