Match facts

Barcelona

  • Barcelona have lost just one of their last 14 La Liga matches against Deportivo (winning nine of those).
  • At Camp Nou, Barcelona are unbeaten in 11 matches against Deportivo (with eight wins and three draws). Their last defeat at home to the Galicians came back in October 2003 in a 2-0 loss.
  • Barcelona are the only team to have scored more than 200 goals against Deportivo in La Liga history (207).
  • Lionel Messi has scored in eight of his last nine league games against Deportivo (13 goals), failing to score the last time the two sides met.

Deportivo La Coruna

  • Deportivo have only won one of their last 12 La Liga away games (with four draws and seven defeats). Their sole victory was a 3-1 success at Las Palmas in October.
  • One point from the last 12 on offer left La Coruna in a precarious position prior to that much-needed win a week ago, though the gap on the bottom three is still only three points ahead of this daunting trip to Catalonia.
  • Parallo's men have won just one of their seven away matches this term, meanwhile, as well as picking up a couple of draws, with their most recent victory coming against a down-and-out Las Palmas side at the end of October.

Predictions

Barcelona should have few problems in seeing off Deportivo on Sunday, helping to open up an insurmountable lead at the top of the division ahead of their trip to the Bernabeu.

They may have lost their 100% league record at Camp Nou last time out, but anything less than a straightforward win on this occasion really would be a shock.

Final Score – 3 : 0

Barca should focus on this game rather than elclassico because win would put more pressure on madrid and elclassico are unpredictable could go either way, and looking at current squad depth madrid has a quality to repeat super cup. I hope we have early goal against depo and take as many chances to kill the game. Especially saurez form crucial before elclassico..
