Just want to say Immobile and Belotti are scoring some brilliant goals at club level. Wish they could continue this for the national team.

Cutrone had shown great mentality last games but I think it's time for Montela to make him golden substitute in front of playing him in first 11. Montela shold thing about stabilising the team with a standard first 11, and to build a strategy on them. Rotating the squad is not the best solution at this moment. The season is on it's way, as so every match is important from now.

The Problem with Montella Coach not AC Milan team when you remember AC Milan team under Anchellotti Management he never played with 4-3-3 plan because this plan needs super stars players like Madrid and Barcelona and I think 4-2-3-1 plan suits AC Milan team now with more midfield control

milan's mentality isn't alright. you don't just drop the ball after conceding. this is a confidence shattering defeat (especially after going on spending spree). let's see how they bounce back. come serie a, be competitive again.

Match fitness is one thing. Montella says that's what is behind starting Cutrone, but I hope that is hte only reason. He cannot start over Silva and kalanic. Borini needs to be dropped for Bonventura on the left. Hakan Needs to be played in midefield. How Montella reacts to this will be very telling.

It used to be a big match back in old days, but in this game there were so many empty seats. Hopefully Serie A can back to its best

That's Lazio man! These last years their average attendance is just a little over 30K, so playing in this stadium of 80K, isn't for them! Otherwise, the attendance isn't that bad - a little below 25K average, which is only 3K less than LaLiga. Inter had 60+K against SPAL, Juve's always full (40+K), so far Milan's average is 50K, Roma has 49K, Napoli around 40K...so, don't judge the whole league just from this sight! Lazio need to build that new stadium of 45K, and then you'll see them playing on (nearly) full stadium! Other teams are also playing on old stadiums, that's why you shouldn't mix quality and the stadiums' state!

Serie A has already bounced back, the quality and the competition are attendance.
Serie At has 5 big teams competing for the Scudetto (Only after England's six), 36% of the players are below 23 y old, teams are very powerful (especially Juve and Napoli in UCL), we'll see how Roma will do, and Lazio & Milan will do great (possibly win it) Europa League! Many teams have started working on new stadiums, but mainly the smaller ones, the big ones who want to build new stadiums (mainly Roma and Napoli) are desperately fighting the Italian bureaucracy, despite having money and all! Fiorentina announced a great new modern stadium, so we'll see! But Serie A is definitely back at the very top!

@Dimitri: thanks for the info. I just remembered when they had Signori, Boksic, etc and the atmosphere in Olimpico was great. In my country, Serie A was the second favorite after BPL so I follow this league on TV every week. I just hope this would be Big Four, or Big Seven, so Juventus will have tough competitors, and it will make Serie A great again.

Lost against Lazio who just won Super Coppa probably understandable, but 4 into Donnarumma's goal, really?

Cutrone was from their youth team and has done really well so far. Borini on the other hand is just not good enough.

thats xactly what you get when you play borini, montolivo and cutrone (despite his great talent, he has nearly zero experience) instead of jack, hakan and andré silva/kalinič

biglia and montolivo duo ar the new muntari - essien of our days

^agreed, also as mentioned on other comment, you don't play calabria in away match against a freaking lazio. tbh honest calabria was involved in all 4 goals. why not play abate or at least play with 3 def instead.

Common man! It's just one match, and their first big loss (2nd overall - the first one was from Borussia Dortmund, at one of those Asian Cups this summer). Plus, everyone who follows football closely (especially Serie A) is perfectly aware that Lazio aren't to be underestimated & that they're quite powerful team that could cause problems to any big team, in many of the other 4 strong leagues, not just in Italy. If you put them in EPL, or LaLiga, or Bundes, they'd be right behind the top few teams, and sometimes they'll mingle at the very top - like they're doing in Italy.
Thus, it's not the end of the world for Milan, because of this bad loss! They could learn many things from it, if they're smart!
