I really don't know what's this thing with footyroom, being always in a hurry to produce m(write) certain data about the match, like the attendance, and the (so often) do it wrongly! Take THIS match for example, where they say the attendance was 'only' 32.5K, which obviously isn't the case! Artemio Franchi,stadium has a capacity of almost 50K (48,6K to be exact), and as we can all see, although there were some empty seats (only) behind one goal, the stadium was quite packed! And that's far from 32.5K (which is Fiorentina's average attendance this year, so they simply write those numbers here as well, as they do it, so many times). Better leave that place empty (now), and wait for the right numbers afterwards, and then write the correct digits! This does nothing good, for anyone!

Good game by the Fiorentina midfield, they created a lot of chances especially in the first half. Too bad the last attacking line wasn't just as good. And even worse, at the 2nd Juve goal, Biraghi was horribly asleep.

original touch when the player was offsides was by fiorentina player, it just got deflected by sandro's tackle. Honestly it's a controversial situation but the ref could've gone both ways and one side would be argued against the other in the end. VAR is definitely an important addition that is needed to end the controversy in so many important matches. This situation however was very tricky.

Other than that great fucking game and performance by both teams, but specially juve and my baby daddy BUFFON <3 so great to see him back in action.

To think VAR was used to rule out penalty by offside that not happen. Pass was from Sandro not Fiorentina player. So even if VAR s good idea still being used by human create something rubbish like this,

It also provided best argument for conservative anty-VAR people in Fifa.After all orginal first decision of referee was penalty and funny thing 'that was correct decision'

To be fair, its not VAR faults, VAR is just a tool, its up to the ref to use it effectively. :(

I agree with that matter about VAR s must in football but still it depend how ref use it right? He did find that offside but didnt check if that was pass from Fiorentina player. I bet there will be after this round big talk about that sytuation. It was not only wrong decision but it took 4 min also.

Matter also that main ref didnt check video but trust those in VAR studio

no, i blame ref not system. read my post one more time. i just not happy because with that kind of back up still ref do mistakes like that.

VAR s no AI,human(ref) still made decision that s why system cant be blamed but user.

Okay, just to get this out of the way, I'm biased. Now, from what I've seen, I think the VAR is a very good thing to have in football, but its being introduced in the wrong way. I mean, don't be shocked when the ref makes mistakes like that, even when he goes to VAR, because he is only human (perception). They have to talk about this, a lot to find the best guidelines for refs to follow, maybe a voting system between refs in a game or something. I want them to protect the referee, because every time they want to punish a ref when they guy makes a 50/50 call the "wrong way" its going to set a precedent for others. And again, I can't remember a single time when the ref stopped the game and went to VAR himself, after Doveri in Torino game. Lets not forget the VAR is in trial after all.
